We have a truly fascinating matchup in the Club World Cup this Wednesday with European bluebloods Real Madrid taking on Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal.

Given the gulf in talent, my Real Madrid vs. Al Hilal predictions believe Real Madrid can win this one by multiple goals.

Read on for my FIFA Club World Cup free picks for Wednesday, June 18, with kickoff at 3:00 p.m. ET on TNT and DAZN.

Real Madrid vs Al Hilal picks and predictions

My Real Madrid vs Al Hilal best bet: Real Madrid -1 (-138 at bet365)

Real Madrid take on Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup, and despite a few injuries, this still sets up as a comfortable win for the European giants. Madrid’s depth is unmatched, with Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr. more than capable of tearing apart an Al-Hilal backline that conceded 41 goals in the Saudi Pro League—more than any other top team.

Al-Hilal do have some familiar names like Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic-Savic, and Mitrovic, but none of them would crack Madrid’s starting XI. The Saudi side scored plenty this season, but their defensive weaknesses are glaring—and against world-class attackers, that’s a major red flag.

Even with a few absences, Madrid have the midfield control, attacking firepower, and big-game experience to dictate play and expose the gulf in quality. European teams have looked far superior in this tournament, and this matchup fits that trend perfectly.

Real Madrid -1 is the sharp play—and if you want to chase bigger value, -2 isn’t out of reach either.

Real Madrid vs Al Hilal same-game parlay (SGP)

Real Madrid -1

Mbappe to score 2+ goals

Vinicius Jr. 3+ shots

Many have labeled this a disappointing season for Kylian Mbappé, pointing to his trophyless campaign while former club PSG lifted the Champions League. But that narrative doesn’t tell the full story. After a slow start in Spain, Mbappé found his rhythm and finished the season with an impressive 42 goals across all competitions. He’s currently on fire, scoring in eight straight matches for club and country, tallying 12 goals in that span. Against a weaker defense, the 26-year-old is well-positioned for another explosive performance.

The final leg of the Same-Game Parlay targets his teammate, Vinicius Junior, to record 3+ shots. While he hasn’t quite matched last season’s heights, the Brazilian has still been a major threat, averaging 2.7 shots per game in La Liga and 3.5 in the Champions League. Facing a less competitive opponent, expect the 24-year-old to be active and aggressive in the final third.
