Mind-blowing success in what I regard is the hardest sport to win money in.

Today, online betting on sports of all kinds is a $60 billion industry, growing rapidly everywhere outside the U.S., where the practice is mostly banned. The Supreme Court, however, may lift federal restrictions this year, and if it does, American dollars will flood the market, increasing liquidity and the profits of computer teams. Big names from the world of finance have taken notice.  One Big name from the world of finance is US Government.. cool

Not much about it seems legit also. Lot of boasting but no real proof. Fictional piece

Being a horse player the article reminds everyone how much of an investment is needed to turn a profit. Not many winners in this sport, wagering. Pick and play spots and not using the favorite ups the payout....

I'll try keying a 4-1 >>> 7-1 on top mostly for a week and picking spots for the 1-1 >>> 3-1. Play my #'s 127/413/326/614 etc. $2 each race and key 1/234 or whatever #'s and stay with $5 total at 50 cent trifecta's it'll save a lot of time and just maybe bankroll will last longer new_poop

Article for me hopefully will change my losing pattern. Know when to hold-up know when to run...........

A funny story after reading the article...

last year I called bookmaker and was asking some questions about what the mangers see when looking at the accounts.

They can actually see what sports we win and lose on. I asked my best sport and he said college hoops by far (which I knew). John (the manger), then said, "tell me why you bet horses."

Some years back I more or less made my living a portion of one year at the track. I for the most part only bet my home track and I was pretty much there like a fulltime job. It wasn't a high life living but I was young and it averaged out to better than minimum wage.
