Before I type this shit up I just want everyone to know that I was one of the guys who called for Gamehunter to be banned when all of this originally went down. By this I mean the accusations of the Speljager alias being his. My views are completely contrarian and I am only creating this thread to provide the jist of what has gone on regarding this situation. Personally I would rather stay out of the drama, but I feel obliged to let everyone know what I know.
When Speljager first created the baseball thread in the P-Box and Gamehunter posted the thread shortly thereafter I was onto that shit quicker than anyone. In fact I had "caught" on to it, or so I thought, about a month earlier when I seen a someone by the name of Speljager post a thread in the college hoops forum that used a lot of the info I had seen in a Gamehunter thread in the past. I called out this user in the P-Box and was refuted by most everyone.
After I had bashed Gamehunter left and right for thinking he had an alias, which I was almost certain of at that point, I received an email from an ex-covers member claiming he had created the Speljager account and used it to contact Gamehunter. He told me it was all a set up and I could work with them in getting him banned. At first I thought it was funny, but eventually realized that this is an internet forum and that was about as low as I had seen.
Here is the original email I received from the guy claiming to be Speljager. I will eliminate the names as the original email was already forwarded to KOAJ. If anyone wants the names you can get in touch with him. This is going to be copied and pasted, but like I said the original and any emails received since then have been forwarded. I still have them if they need to be forwarded as I saved them since I knew this would eventually happen.
Yo Weezy. Wuzzup. This is **********. As a new member of the nation we need to bring you up to speed. We are all working together. I was banned last month and now work under different aliases. You may or may not be aware. The Speljager -Gamehunter was a set up today. Several of us take turns contacting GH by email and becoming friends with him and now that I am an alias, I am the main one. I am Speljager. I have been emailing with GH for about 3 weeks and became friends. I tried to catch him by offering him $500 for his picks but he turned it down. If he accepted we would of exposed him on Covers as a tout. Now we are trying to get him kicked off for having aliases so the mods think he is Speljager and then they will ban him. He shares info with me and I act like one of his groupies when I email with him. He sometimes sends me write-ups of games he likes. Three times I asked him if I could post them as mine and he said he didn't mind. Today when he sent me the baseball thing, in my email to him I acted like I was trying to help him and then apologized for fucking it all up. The goal was almost reached as it looked perfect like it is him but the mods didn't ban him. Not sure where the mods are at. They deleted my post and while they bash GH a little, they obviously checked IP addresses and know it didn't check out as him. GH still thinks I am his bud. Me, ******** and *********are comeing up with the next step. I need to gain back some of GH's trust and then we are going to set him up again in April when baseball is going. Contact either me or ******** (his email is on his homepage). So is ********. We need to work together. So don't go overboard on the bashing yet.
This is exactly what I received, and the only reason my email address was even posted was because I was going to run a fantasy baseball league for the P-Box Nation. I was rather surprised to get this email and after a little investigation, some of the people named in the email denied having anything to do with it. I don't know if the guy who sent it was the guy who's name was on the email, but that guy has denied it. I believe that this actually happened as some of the other emails I received included certain peoples names that I will not post at this time.
I will be around for awhile as I'm sure I will get blasted for this. I don't really give a shit what anyone on an internet forum thinks of me though, so go ahead and bring the bullshit.
