I'm trying to plan a trip and would really appreciate some advice. I live in NY and have been a big Alabama fan for over 25 years. Was thinking about going down to Atlanta for their first game against VTech but then I got thinking it'd be much more memorable to see a game at Bama as I've never been. I'm gonna fly into Atlanta still cus its much much cheaper, and then drive to Tuscaloosa. I'm leaning the Ole Miss game on 9/28. Would love to go to the LSU game but can't afford it. Other possibilities would be the Arkansas and Tenn game. Any advice and/or recommendations?

You're on the right track. If you're going to watch a game, DEFINITELY go to one at Bryant-Denny.
I would fly into Atlanta, and drive from there. Your other issue will be a hotel room. To get a hotel room in Tuscaloosa you have to reserve a room almost a year in advance on a game-day weekend, and they are very expensive. It will be a 2-night minimum and cost you at least $500 for a crappy hotel room. I would probably get a cheap hotel room in Birmingham somewhere. I stayed in a Motel 6 up there one time. It was cheap, and not a bad room.
Let me know what game you're interested in attending. I can probably get you tickets at a reasonable price . . . maybe face value. The only exception might be LSU. You can also tailgate with us if you would like. Send me a friend request, and PM me.
