Southen Miss HUGE over ECU GET ON IT NOW; going for the HAT TRICK!!

This should be the hat trick for me. I had Tech two weeks ago; NC last week and now ECU is getting 9.5 against a very good Southern Miss team that can play defense like NC. Not a high scoring game but should come in around 38-17. Not sure if people are starting to notice ECU is a really bad team.

Your the first person ive seen on S MISS, this is one of the best plays on the board this week. They really passed the eye test for me against SC week one although they didnt cover that game. Had them last week for the easy cover. Just seems like they have the size and speed to play with the bigger conf. Nice thing is now they are playing teams that just dont match up with their size and speed. Love this play, GL

While the SM offense has historically been the backbone of the team in recent yeras, the Eagles defense has been equally impressive in '10 allowing just 244ypg since the second week of the season including surrendering just 180yds LW(lowest under HC fedora) in their 25 pt victory over Marshall.  SM has now won 11 straight Home games and is off to its best start since '04 at 4-1.  EC on the other hand came out shooting blanks in the 2H vs UNC as they were outscored 28-3 after going into the locker room tied at 14.  LY w/o starting QB Davis, SM tied the game at 20 late but had the PAT blocked and returned for 2 in the 5pt loss (+6.5).

While the Home Team is just 3-8 ATS in this series, SM is on a 8-1 ATS run vs the Pirates (favorite is6 -2 ATS) and is playing with legitimate revenge after LY's EC win gave them the CUSA East title.

i actually noticed it in their first game... a game in which they won and somehow people fell in love with them, not noticing how horrendous their defense was during that game...

the UNC game was one of the easiest picks of the year... not sure if i am in love with So Miss this week... but betting against ECU's "defense" is always going to give you a chance of winning...
