See any regular, average gambler would say exactly what you just wrote and just try to take Suns -7 to the bank. However, if you actually look into the numbers you may think differently. When the Knicks have been underdog by 7 or more at home they are 1-1 ATS this year and were 2-1 ATS last season. The number 7 is a significant number in the NBA, especially getting 7 at home. In the past 2 years the Knicks have only been underdogs by 7 or more 5 times as you can see. An average gambler doesn't take this into account how significant this actually is. The Suns have been favored by over 7 twice on the road this year and are 1-1 ATS. Last season when the Suns were only favored by 7 or more 4 times last season and were 1-3 ATS in those games. Tonight is not just about the Suns being a better team. You have to look at other factors. This is the Suns first game of a back to back road trip and could potentially be a look ahead game because tomorrow night they go into Cleveland. The Knicks have a nice scenario of being on 1 day rest on consecutive home games. Even though they will be back to back as well, I don't think the Knicks look ahead to any games because every game is important to them as they are struggling and if anything they will play the first game harder, especially since it is at home. I like the Knicks to keep this very close tonight.

nuf said but not enuf. Barbosa out tonight will leave the 2nd unit with Dragic, Dud and Amund, and probably Lopez with limited mins. On the Knicks, they got Harry, explosive Nate and Jeffe. This is an edge to NY in quickness and power. Harry and Nate will get more FTs, 3 pt opp., and prolly rebounds. Knicks hold on buddy
