Laws in Vegas changing again...more smoking allowed in bars that serve food with gaming....

You will never see smoking banned in Vegas casinos.....HOWEVER, the sportsbooks that are run by Cantor Gaming do not allow smoking.....since they don't want you staying around after you make your bet anyway....

I think that if they banned smoking Vegas would adapt. There would be a big hub bub just like there always is and then the smokers would play for a little and then go outside and smoke. The casinos would lose a little draw but not much. We have non- smoking casinos here in Colorado and for the 75% of us WHO DO NOT SMOKE, it makes us go more. I am sure they lose a little for the idiots who are so hopelessly addicted that they cannot go ten minutes without polluting the air of the majority but it has evened out with more of the majority going there. The draw since they passed the non smoking has not changed much. More non smokers less smokers. Way better air! If you have never been to a Colorado casino, they are quite nice. Non smoking, $100 dollar limit,  new rooms at the Ameristar and affordable. Free drinks while playing. Only downside for me is they cut you off at 2:00. But WTF, it only affects those of us who are so hopelessy addicted to alcohol we have to continue to drink til 5:00 a.m.
