Don't know about the line looking weird, but I trust Colts much more than Eagles @ Raiders -14. McNabb got sacked a lot, and couldn't score anything. But Colts offense won't replicate what Eagles offense was.

Being a life long Ram fan I have to agree, the Rams O will wear out the Rams D and by games end it will be ugly. That being said, I rarely bet on a Rams game, last week and Rams v Skins the lone exceptions. Hard to bet with my head on them. GL

rams are a different team with bulger at QB guys! 14 is alot of points. i think the over might be in by haltime? manning throws 2td,addai td,FG. bulger throws td jackson td? i can see 24-10,13 at halftime

Usually, I LOVE teams coming off a BYE, since they cover something like 76% of the time or there abouts, as one of our great cappers on Covers has shown. But, shouldnt the line be moving up 2 or 3 points if the public is pounding Colts this much??
everyone loved the Gators to cover vs the Sooners in a much much higher profile game than this one and... they did. Public perception means nothing.
you are so very wrong with that statement... just because some big consensus fav's actually do cover does not mean that the angle is invalid. If you are just going to pick the better team no matter what the number is then you will lose by seasons end.

I did not take Indy because they were going to win and I didn't care about the number. To me how much they had to lay was important. Anything under 14 I was going to pound into oblivion because in all my analysis I could not see them winning by anything less.
the angle is not invalid because of some concensus picks failing to cover the angle is bullshit because they cover about half the time and there is no way other than real handicapping to tell which categorey any given public pick will fall into by day's end. You guys act like public picks are losing 60+% of the time when that is not the case. Also: it is hard to accurately gage what a "consensus" pick even is. You may think Indy qualified but look at all those guys who gaves the Rams GOY status in their postd.
