They are investing in the US because they were allowed to bring back their hidden cash with a reduced tax and they improved their tax rate, its a monster win for them and you want to give them a cookie for spending the free money to expand their business?

How is it better for us if Apple keeps their foreign money offshore like they did while Obama was President?

Why do you keep bringing Clinton into the discussion? Who cares? It has nothing to do with the topic and the resulting answer means nothing.

Apple kept their money offshore because WE LET THEM DO IT...if Trump was so tough and such a bottom line kind of guy who gets things done, he massively caved on this and should have put the hammer on these cheating corps. The money corps offshore had tax liability associated and that is why Apple kept it offshore due to loopholes WE ALLOW. Simple solution as Ive said so many times is if a company offshores to avoid taxation then they can move 100% of their operations offshore and be import taxed accordingly on the products they sell here. They also can have their assets frozen to pay for the taxes owed....you know the same way the IRS does for individual income taxes owed?

If Trump “caved”, how would you describe what Obama did?

I don’t need your fairytale answer. Compare what Trump did vs what Obama did.

Why are you hijacking the thread to talk about Clinton over and over?

To answer your other comment...Obama had a different approach vs the brash abusive Trump way. It doesnt really matter that much anyway because this thread isnt your normal "Obama/Clinton/Dems are worse than my republican politician" thread.

It’s entertaining to watch Democrats attack Trump about everything when in reality the stance/results you’re attacking is much better than stance/results of the people you vote for.

Obama has a different approach? What was his approach exactly?

You keep hijacking this thread with partisan garbage, why not stick to your own thread to complain about how horrible the DEMS are and how great the repubs are? You can rant on and on and on in there and enjoy yourself!

I didn’t think you could answer the simple questions. You keep complaining about Trump meanwhile he outperforms any candidate you’ve voted for.

The total number of companies announcing bonuses, wage hikes,401(k) increases due to the Trump tax cuts and Jobs Act has increased to 265 companies...

At least 3 Million Americans and counting are receiving special Trump tax reform bonuses..
This number does not even include those receiving pay increases or increased 401(k) contributions from their employer due to the Trump tax reform.

"Crumbs" is what Nancy Pelosi,, who as the 15th richest member of Congress has a minimum net worth of nearly $30 million, referred to the millions of dollars in bonuses and pay hikes announced by more than 265 companies.

Pelosi is not the only Democrat who voted against tax reform while arguing that it would be an economic “Armageddon” for everyday Americans...while those everyday Americans are seeing bigger pay checks, bonuses and more jobs..

Good luck trying to sell that doom and gloom to the voters in November...Madam Ex-Speaker.........

Energy giant Exxon Mobil announced plans Monday to spend $50 Billion to expand its domestic business operations, citing the recently passed Trump tax cuts ...

"At ExxonMobil, we plan to invest more than $50 billion over the next five years to expand our business in the United States. These investments are underpinned by the unique strengths of our company and enhanced by the historic tax reform recently signed into law, Chief Executive Office Darren Woods said...

"This will create thousands of jobs, strengthen the U.S. economy and enhance energy security" Woods added.

Mr. President, please, we can't take it anymore, we can't win anymore like this, Mr. President, you're driving us crazy, you're winning too much, please Mr. President, not so much,...... and I'm going to say I'm sorry, we're going to keep winning because we are going to make America great again."

The crumbs just keep on coming............

Lowe's the Home improvement chain says it's handing out bonuses of up to $1,000 for its more than 260,000 hourly employees, as it becomes the latest major employer to invest in its workers after Congress approved a Trump tax cut .. that will help businesses.

The bonuses, which will be given out to both part-time and full-time hourly workers across all its U.S. facilities including distribution centers, will be paid in addition to Lowe's long-standing, store-level bonus program.

UPS today announced more than $12 Billion in investments to expand the company's Smart Logistics Network, significantly increase pension funding, and position the company to further enhance shareowner value.

Less than a week after Univision smeared the Trump tax cuts, the owner of that broadcasting network, Haim Saban, has announced that he will be giving $1000 bonuses to his employees due to those same tax cuts. In fact, Saban very specifically credited those same tax cuts as the reason for the bonuses.

Back in July 2016 ...Billionaire mogul and Univision owner Haim Saban said “Don’t believe a single word this man (Trump)says. He is a conman, a liar, a cheat, a thief and he’s cynical. Everyone he does is to serve Trump alone.”

He revealed at that time, that his donation to Hillary Clinton's campaign exceeded $10 million.

How ironic and hypocritical ,,that this same man would credit President Trump's tax cut for the reason he is giving out bonuses.

Charter/Spectrum just raised the minimum wage for its 94,000 employees to $15/hour because of the Trump tax cuts. Still unclear why every Democrat voted against lower taxes and higher wages

    Baiting again I see...

Hurray that Charter raised wages for the lowest while their stock price has rewarded their upper management for quite some time. And Charter should thank the little guy, not Trump for the free money...that freebie will be paid for by loss of benefits and added debt. See thats what happens when you pass tax cuts that are budget negative.
