Weve discussed this before many times. To me taxation should be borne more by those who receive the most benefit relative to total outlays...notice the wording please.
We had a long discussion in the past of who benefits the greatest from government spending...and for sure it is the corporation and the elite. The little guy uses infrastructure of course but nothing to the degree that corporations do, the little guy does not really benefit from foreign spending, but corporations do. In fact even social spending is heavily tilted to corporations...so say food stamps and welfare, sure the little guy gets the stipend but where is it spent? It is spent to subsidize cheap corporate crap. If the government were serious about protecting the little guy with regards to food stuff there would be restrictions on what can be purchased. Like WIC has some strong restrictions on what can be bought, the same should go for food stamps but it does not...and why is that? Corps make better margins on garbage crap food and they advertise that heavily and they make a nice return on the junk garbage food. If the government were concerned about obesity and the health of the little guy then we would restrict what government freebies can be spent on.

It isnt that difficult, the government spends money on certain things...on foreign interests, on the military, on infrastructure, on social programs...you should know the list. Who gets the most and benefits the most from how the government spends money? So in the past we built all those freeways for inter-intra state travel...who benefits from that more? We spent money on an electrical grid, on power generation, on telecommunications on satellites etc etc...so many more things. Who gains the most financially from what the money is spent on? Who gains from food stamps, who gains from Medicare and Social Security? It isnt difficult...the little guy the average Joe does not gain remotely the same that Walmart or Exxon or Haliburton does, the most net gain relative to outlay. You should tax based on who uses the resources and gains the most from it.
If you fall back on the jobs schtick then I suggest you put a cap on the profits and how those profits are used, are profits used to help the average society and government or to enrich the elite? If the profits are used to benefit the majority then they should be taxed differently than what we have now.

Then Trump with his grand logic lets companies bring it back at a severe reduction in taxes...so who wouldnt like that? It teaches these corps that avoiding taxation and holding out PAYS OFF..
This loss in tax revenue accompanied with the tax reductions to the elite and biz class are not budget positive, so that means someone will pay for this in the near and far future, until it is removed (as it will be).

Company holds out the piggy bank and gives employee a few bucks, I say a few bucks relative to the big picture so 1k 5k 10k whatever...the K is small relative to the cost of the decision. So employee gladly takes the cash and the impression is something great and hurrahhh for Trump....well at the same time these bucks are being given to the employee the government is adding 20k to the employees home mortgage, the government is deducting 200 bucks a month in future SS benefits, the government is upping the contribution required for Medicare insurance and also bumping the age requirements, the government is adding TRILLIONS in debt which means at higher interest rates (which we are seeing due in part to these decisions and the morons debt plan destroying the dollar) and less money to go around to programs that people require or for the infrastructure of the country.
This scheme is short term glory, medium and long term pain, there is nothing good from these decisions. So yippee that I get 5 bucks from my company, when the same company rakes in millions of tax savings and the government adds trillions in debt and will be cutting social programs to cope with the shortfall.
