Mayakoba Golf Classic odds are settled for last weekend's PGA Tour event, which took place December 3-6 at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Unlike recent PGA events in Bermuda and the Dominican Republic, last weekend's lineup featured several of the World's top golfers, including Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka.

Let's check out the PGA Tour odds to win the Mayakoba Golf Classic, with the tournament now wrapped up.

Who was the Favorite to Win the Mayakoba Golf Classic?

Not surprisingly for this field, Justin Thomas was a fairly comfortable favorite, heading into the Mayakoba Golf Classic with +650 odds.

Thomas, the world's No. 3 OWGR golfer, has three Top-10 finishes in four events this season, including fourth at the Masters last month. He won three events on tour in 2020, and finished second in the Tour Championship.

Sitting second at +1,200 was the trash-talking, heavy-hitting Brooks Koepka, who has battled through injuries to have a fairly up-and-down post-COVID stretch. Seemingly oscillating between Top-10s and missed cuts, Koepka's most recent showing was a 10-under seventh at The Masters.

Third was Harris English (+1,600), who most recently finished sixth at the RSM Classic, his second Top-10 result this year (fourth at U.S. Open). Tony Finau sat fourth (+1,800) after a slew of close calls in 2020, where he just couldn't seem to break through for a victory.

Fifth was a three-way tie between Abraham Ancer, Daniel Berger and Russell Henley, all at +2,200.

Ultimately, Norwegian Viktor Hovland (+2,500) came through with the victory at 20-under. It was Hovland's second career tour win, having taken the 2020 Puerto Rico Open as well.

How To Bet On PGA Tour Odds

The most popular way to bet on golf is by simply picking the winner, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, however. Some of the more popular markets include head-to-head betting, where sportsbooks pair up two golfers and you simply choose who you think will have the lower score over the course of the weekend or for one round only. Similarly, there are also 3-way betting markets (choose the best golfer among three choices) and group betting (choose the best golfer amongst a group of players).

Other ways to wager include Top-5/Top-10/Top-20 finish, top golfer by nationality, to make the cut/to not make the cut, and the leader after each round. Then, of course, there's the popular prop bet of whether or not there will be a hole in one at the tournament.
