Team USA opened its quest for gold with a convincing 5-1 victory over a solid Czechia team ranked fourth in the IIHF rankings.

USA vs Finland best bet: USA -5.5 (-105 at BET99)
Team USA features four of the five leading scorers in the PWHL, the top point-producing defensemen, and two NCAA phenoms — forward Abbey Murphy and blueliner Caroline Harvey — who already look to be two of the best players in the sport before turning pro.
It completely overwhelmed a Czechia team on the rise, and it should be more of the same against the Finns.
Finland will play its first game of the tournament after its opener against Canada was postponed because of a virus outbreak that affected many of its players.
The United States will no doubt be feeling good about its game and where it’s heading, while Finland is not feeling good, period.
Finland does have some talent on its roster, headlined by forward Susanna Tapini and defender Ronja Savolainen, but it's not at the level of Team USA’s best players, and there isn’t enough depth to compensate for a sizable gap in high-end talent.
