Our best NHL player props for Tuesday, April 28
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Jackson LaCombe Over 0.5 assists
Jackson LaCombe had a brilliant regular season, and he’s kept it up in his first playoff appearance.
The 25-year-old has cashed the Over in assists in every game so far. In fact, he’s compiled seven helpers in just four contests.
LaCombe set up a pair of goals in Game 3, and he played a series-high 29:54 minutes. LaCombe notched 48 assists during the season, and he’s had his hand in Anaheim’s offense in every way imaginable against the Edmonton Oilers.
The youngster will stay hot and play a part in the Ducks' scoring tonight.

Prop #2: Alex Tuch anytime goal
Alex Tuch posted another 30+ goal season in 2025-26, netting 33. He’s kept up his scoring ways in the playoffs for the Buffalo Sabres, finding the back of the net in three of four games as the Sabres look to close out the Boston Bruins tonight.
The chances are there, too. Tuch has 15 SOG in the series so far, and he had six shots on target in a huge Game 4 win. Tuch is playing with boatloads of confidence, and he’s also a key contributor on the power play.
Plus, Tuch scored the game-winning goal in Game 3. He’s being relied on in big moments.

Prop #3: Jason Robertson Over 3.5 shots on goal
Jason Robertson has lived up to expectations in these playoffs for the Dallas Stars. He’s scored four goals and tallied two assists in this series against the Minnesota Wild.
The chances are coming left and right as well, as he’s notched 23 SOG across four games.
Robertson put seven pucks on net in a heartbreaking Game 4 loss, and he also scored the opening goal. In fact, the superstar hasn’t finished with fewer than five SOG in any contest in this first-round matchup.
He’ll continue to be the Stars’ focal point offensively as they look to bounce back.
