Mammoth vs Ducks Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL Game

Dylan Guenther has been left off the scoresheet in his last few outings, but he'll get going against flaky netminding in Anaheim.

Dylan Guenther is a consistent point producer and is most efficient on the road, where teammate Clayton Keller often draws more of the attention.

With Anaheim giving up chances in bulk, my Mammoth vs. Ducks predictions see Guenther making plenty of noise in this matchup.

Let’s take a closer look at my NHL picks for Wednesday, December 3.

Mammoth vs Ducks prediction

Mammoth vs Ducks Best bet: Dylan Guenther Over 0.5 points (-115)

Dylan Guenther has hit the scoresheet in well over half of his games this season, picking up a point in 56% of his appearances. He's performed better on the road, recording a point at a 63% clip.

Opposing teams often use their best personnel against the Clayton Keller line, freeing up Guenther to work his magic vs. lesser units.

The winger was held pointless in each of his past two games, but the stars are aligning for a bounce-back effort against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks are without starting goaltender Lukas Dostal, leaving Petr Mrazek (.876 SV%, day-to-day) and Ville Husso (.880 SV%) as their options in goal. Not great.

As an added bonus, this is a pace-up spot for Guenther and the Utah Mammoth. They rank 25th in pace at 5-on-5 while the Ducks sit second, and 31st in expected goals against.

There should be plenty of opportunities for Guenther — and there’s a better chance of conversion without Dostal in the net.

Mammoth vs Ducks same-game parlay

Mikhail Sergachev failed to record a point over his first six games. He's since caught fire, producing 17 over the last 23 — with 14 coming by assist. He gets up in the play at 5-on-5 and correlates with Guenther on the top power play, where he serves as the quarterback.

Cutter Gauthier leads the Ducks in goals and ranks second to only Nathan MacKinnon in shots. He's most likely to exploit the goaltending struggles of the Mammoth, who sit 27th in team save percentage.
