The Winnipeg Jets will look to file consecutive wins when they hit the ice at KeyBank Center to face the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, December 1.

My top Jets vs. Sabres predictions and NHL picks are calling for Winnipeg to continue turning the corner and take care of business tonight.

Jets vs Sabres prediction

Jets vs Sabres Best bet: Jets moneyline (+100)

There are a few statistical shortcomings for the Winnipeg Jets during their active 4-8 slump.

To start, the Jets have only scored 2.5 goals per game while generating the 10th-fewest expected goals per 60 minutes with a 21st-ranked Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5.

The poor 5-on-5 play is exacerbated and on display even more with superstar goaltender Connor Hellebuyck (knee) on injured reserve.

Still, this is a winnable game for Winnipeg, with the Buffalo Sabres sporting a similar 5-7-1 record and allowing the fifth-most goals per game (3.69) during the same timeframe.

Returning to the Winnipeg crease, No. 2 Eric Comrie posted a solid .914 SV% and 2.39 GAA last season in backup duty with the Jets, so I’m anticipating statistical correction coming for his .898 and 2.91 marks through nine games this year.

Winnipeg is also coming off a tidy 5-2 win with Comrie stopping 20 of 22 shots, and I like the Jets to continue turning the corner with another W tonight.

Jets vs Sabres same-game parlay

The Sabres have played to the Under in four consecutive games with an average of 2.0 goals per, and as noted, the Jets have also struggled to score. Additionally, I’m anticipating Winnipeg leaning into a 200-foot game to limit the Buffalo high-danger scoring chances and further insulate Comrie in net.

Winnipeg winger Kyle Connor rounds out the same-game parlay, and he has paced the club in both shots and attempts while logging a hefty 20:38 of ice time per game (3:09 with the man advantage). He also ranks in the 97th percentile of shots on goal among NHL forwards.
