It’s a battle between two Eastern Conference juggernauts tonight at TD Garden as the Boston Bruins play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, with both clubs looking to keep rolling into the postseason.

The Boston Bruins skated to a fourth straight victory on Saturday, picking up a 3-2 overtime win against the Florida Panthers. Pavel Zacha again played a part in the win, notching a helper on Boston’s opening goal to push his assist streak to six games.
With Patrice Bergeron's retirement, many people assumed Boston’s offense would fall off hard, but Zacha’s emergence as a top-line center has been a big reason why the B’s remain near the top of the league standings. Zacha has already posted a career-high 37 assists in 2023-24 while he sits just one point shy of matching his personal best of 57 set last year with Boston.
The center has been particularly hot since the start of March, recording seven goals, 13 assists, and 20 points in 17 contests over that span, tied with David Pastrnak for the team lead in points. Zacha has collected at least one assist in 14 of his last 16 games while factoring on 20 of 51 Bruins goals since March 1 — that’s just under 40%.
Playing on the first line with Pastrnak as well as the top power-play unit, Zacha has made the most of his opportunity and I’ll look for him to keep it going with another apple tonight.

Along with a Zacha point, I’ll stick with the Bruins for my same-game parlay as I look for Pastrnak to hit the Over on 3.5 shots. Pasta has recorded 4+ shots in three straight games while averaging 4.74 shots per game this season — second most in the NHL behind only Nathan MacKinnon.
Finally, the Under on 5.5 goals seems like a safe play as Carolina (2.56) and Boston (2.67) rank third and fifth, respectively, in goals against per game this season.
