Canucks vs Rangers best bet: Conor Garland Over 0.5 assists (+150)
The Vancouver Canucks will be relying on Conor Garland a lot more after trading Quinn Hughes and placing Elias Pettersson on the IR. So far, he’s shown he’s up for the challenge. Garland is third on the team in points with 18, and that includes 12 helpers.
Garland has been busy lately, cashing the Over in assists in back-to-back outings, setting up both goals in a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday. He’s also collected seven of his assists on the road across 11 contests compared to just five in 15 home games.
While he didn’t have an assist against the New York Rangers last season, Garland is playing with confidence, and I expect him to get in on the action.

Canucks vs Rangers same-game parlay
Jake DeBrusk’s number may not jump off the page, but he’s consistently creating chances, averaging 2.90 shots on goal per night, and 15 points overall.
DeBrusk has cashed the Over in SOG in three straight, putting at least four pucks on target in those games. He also had 10 SOG in two meetings with the Rangers in 2024-25.
With Kiefer Sherwood’s shot total sitting relatively low here, I see huge value in the Over. He’s averaging 2.18 SOG per contest, and the winger has hit the Over in five of six appearances this month.
Sherwood has 20 shots on net in six games in December. He also posted seven SOG in two matchups against New York a season ago.
