The Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers take matching 2-1 records into their Week 4 clash at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, on Sunday, September 28.

My top same-game parlay, NFL picks, and Vikings vs. Steelers predictions are calling for the Pittsburgh offense to be no match for the mighty Minnesota defense across the pond.

Our best Vikings vs Steelers SGP for Week 4

Give me the Minnesota Vikings all day below the key number of 3.

Minny represents a huge uptick in class after the Pittsburgh Steelers faced the third-easiest strength of schedule through three weeks, per PFF.

In addition to Vikings No. 2 quarterback Carson Wentz playing well in Week 3, the Minny defense has also allowed the lowest EPA per play while ranking second in defensive DVOA and 10th in PFF defense grade. So, I don't expect the Steelers offense to suddenly flip the switch, considering its respective ranks of 17th, 21st, and 30th in those offensive metrics.

Vikings running back Jordan Mason shone in the lead role in Week 3 with 116 rushing yards and a pair of scores. I expect him to receive an uptick in carries in a closer and lower-scoring game against the Steelers, too.

Pittsburgh also allowed No. 1 running backs Breece Hall and Kenneth Walker III to combine for 212 rushing yards at 6.6 yards per tote through the first two weeks of the season.

Minnesota No. 1 wide receiver Justin Jefferson hasn’t found the end zone since Week 1, so I like the chances that the go-to weapon in the aerial attack finds paydirt in Week 4. Jefferson scored 10 times across 17 games last season, and this isn’t a nightmare matchup.

The Steelers have allowed the second-highest catch percentage to opposing wide receivers (75.5%) while also allowing the 12th-highest yards per target (8.72).

As discussed, Pittsburgh has also opened the season with a soft schedule, so those ho-hum numbers carry even more significance.
