The Houston Texans can clinch a playoff berth with a Week 17 victory over the playoff-bound Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
Both defenses pop, but my Texans vs. Chargers player props have found three solid matchups for C.J. Stroud, Keenan Allen, and Woody Marks to exploit.

Prop bet #1: C.J. Stroud Over 12.5 rushing yards
While C.J. Stroud hasn’t set the world on fire with his feet lately, he may need to tuck and run against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Stroud isn’t exactly a dual threat, but he’s opportunistic when pressure arrives late, and this Chargers front doesn’t ever stop chasing quarterbacks until the whistle blows.
The Chargers' pass coverage is tough to crack. They allow the sixth-fewest passing yards per game, and that’s where Stroud is most effective as a rusher.
Stroud has rushed for at least 13 yards in half of his 12 games this season, and the Chargers chasers will see to it that Stroud goes Over his rushing total.
Prop bet #2: Keenan Allen Over 33.5 receiving yards
Keenan Allen remains a reliable chain mover, especially on early downs and third downs, where short-area separation matters more than pure burst.
The Houston Texans don’t give up many passing yards or long balls, which plays into Allen's skill set, and he has a good matchup to clear his receiving yards total.
While the numbers aren’t what they once were, Justin Herbert still trusts him in rhythm throws, and Allen is averaging 9.9 yards per catch.
Houston is comfortable conceding short completions, and Allen remains the short-route maestro. He’s cleared 34 receiving yards in three of his last five games, making this a good spot for steady production.
Prop bet #3: Woody Marks anytime touchdown
Woody Marks has just five touchdowns on the season, but he can find success in this matchup.
In Week 14, Marks logged a season-high seven red-zone touches and is the clear leader out of the backfield when the Houston offense is inside 20 yards.
The Chargers have been vulnerable inside the 20 — allowing 13 rushing touchdowns — and that vulnerability, plus some good odds, adds value to Marks’ anytime touchdown prop.
