The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium for a pivotal AFC North game on Sunday, December 7.

My early Steelers vs. Ravens predictions and NFL picks call for Baltimore to pull away in Week 14, with Pittsburgh looking lost on offense.

Early Steelers vs Ravens spread pick: Ravens -5.5

-115 at FanDuel

While it’s hard to overlook the Baltimore Ravens losing at home to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, they’d won their previous five games by an average margin of 12.8 points, and this sets up as a must-win home game for top billing in the AFC North.

The Ravens ranked eighth in offensive DVOA and 12th in defensive DVOA during the stretch, too.

On the opposite sideline, the Pittsburgh Steelers have lost five of seven, including being blown out 26-7 by the Buffalo Bills at home last week.

I was originally leaning toward recommending taking the points with Pittsburgh, but the Steelers were worse by DVOA on both sides of the ball during their highlighted 2-5 slide, and No. 1 quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished last in EPA + CPOE composite rating through 15 of 16 Week 13 games.

Rodgers also hasn’t connected for multiple touchdown passes since Week 8. Ravens will roll at M&T Bank Stadium and cover the number in Week 14.

Early Steelers vs Ravens total pick: Under 43.5

+100 at FanDuel

In addition to the highlighted struggles of Rodgers, Lamar Jackson has flashed anything but MVP-caliber play over the past four games.

Jackson has thrown just a single touchdown pass with a miserable 56.0 completion percentage, and he’s also topped out with 36 rushing yards in Week 10 while also running for just 3.2 yards per carry during the four-game cooler.

As a result, I’m anticipating both teams relying on their defenses and rushing attacks with the clock churning throughout.

Of course, the Under has also hit nine of the past 10 meetings between the Steelers and Ravens, and Pittsburgh enters with below-average ranks in yards and EPA per play and offensive DVOA.
