It’s a classic AFC North clash as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Thursday Night Football to open Week 7.

Our Steelers vs. Bengals predictions spotlight standout performances from Joe Flacco and DK Metcalf, along with the top bets, props, and odds for the matchup ahead.

Steelers vs Bengals TNF predictions

Steelers vs Bengals TNF best bets

Steelers Steelers -5.5

-110 at bet365

It's hard to trust Cincinnati these days. They're on an 0-4 slide, losing by an average of 21.25 points. While I don't expect a blowout of that magnitude, it wouldn't be surprising to see Pittsburgh win by at least a touchdown.

Steelers/Bengals Over 44.5

-115 at bet365

Pittsburgh went Over this total of 43.5 on their own when they last came to Cincinnati, dropping 44 points. They should be able to find the endzone early and often, while the Bengals can contribute to the scoring in what is an extreme desperation spot on their home field.

Steelers vs Bengals TNF TD picks

Steelers DK Metcalf

+135 at bet365

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has looked to top wide receiver DK Metcalf for a team-high 31 targets and 23.1% target share. Metcalf has also scored in four consecutive games and sports a league-high 11.6 yards after the catch per reception.

This matchup checks out, too. The Cincinnati defense has surrendered a healthy 8.36 yards per target to opposing wideouts and ranks 26th in PFF coverage grade with the fifth-worst DVOA against the pass.

Steelers vs Bengals TNF props

Bengals Joe Flacco Over 36.5 pass attempts

-115 at bet365

Joe Flacco made his debut with the Cincinnati Bengals last week and attempted 29-of-45 passes for 219 yards at Green Bay. That was the third time that Flacco has thrown 45+ pass attempts this year.

The Bengals have rushed for a league-low 56.7 rushing yards per game and will need to rely on their aerial attack with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins if they want to move the ball.

On Thursday, Flacco faces a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that stacks the box and dares teams to throw against them. That has resulted in the Steelers allowing 45.0 pass attempts per game over their last three contests.
