The final week of the season presents a winner-takes-all scenario in the NFC West when the Seattle Seahawks travel to face the San Francisco 49ers.
To the victor go the spoils, in this case, the top seed in the NFC. And we’ve keyed on two offensive players who will need to help their team put points on the board if they’re to get a week off heading into the playoffs.
Here are my best Seahawks vs. 49ers anytime touchdown picks for Saturday, January 3.

Seahawks anytime touchdown pick
Zach Charbonnet (+125 at FanDuel)
Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet has been sharing backfield duties this season with Kenneth Walker III. But last week, he was much more effective than this teammate, as he rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.
Charbonnet has now scored three times in his last two games and in four of his last six outings, while Walker has just one touchdown in his last six games. And Charbonnet ranks seventh in the NFL in both carries and third in touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line. Inside the five, he ranks sixth and third in those areas, respectively.
The San Francisco 49ers have allowed touchdowns on nearly two-thirds of opposing red zone attempts over the past three games. They gave up two rushing scores last week to the Bears, and Jonathan Taylor found paydirt the game before.
The 49ers rank 21st in EPA/rush and won’t be able to load the box with the likes of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and AJ Barner keeping them honest. That should set Charbonnet up with multiple opportunities to punch one in.

49ers anytime touchdown pick
Jauan Jennings (+180 at FanDuel)
While Christian McCaffrey rightly gets the focus of the 49ers' offense, Jauan Jennings has been a scoring machine. His nine receiving touchdowns are tops on the team, and he’s averaging a touchdown every 5.7 catches.
He’s scored six touchdowns over the last five games, finding the endzone in each of those contests, and has touchdowns in seven of his last eight games. And the return of George Kittle will allow him some more room to operate, especially inside the red zone.
Both CMC and Jennings rank in the Top 10 in the NFL in red zone targets this season. But while both have seven red zone touchdown catches, Jennings has done so on nearly half the catches. And he’s hauled in 11 of his 19 targets, including four touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line.
CMC and Kittle will draw a ton of attention anytime the 49ers venture near the goal line. At his price, Jennings presents terrific value to cash in on a one-on-one matchup and put six points on the board.
