The Baltimore Ravens got an all-out team effort without Lamar Jackson last week and could be without their star QB again in Week 6. Jason Logan gives his early leans for Ravens vs. Browns.

The Baltimore Ravens showed grit and guts without Lamar Jackson last Sunday and will take on the rival Cleveland Browns without a clear status for their star QB to start the week.

My early Ravens vs. Browns predictions and NFL picks monitor Jackson’s health and how it affects market moves ahead of this AFC North grudge match on Oct. 18.

Early Ravens vs Browns spread pick: Ravens -4.5

Kalshi probability: 49%

Tyler Huntley proved his worth, leading the Baltimore Ravens to an overtime win at Atlanta in Week 5. As impressive as his effort was in place of Lamar Jackson, it was the Ravens' defense that really stood out.

This stop unit is learning a brand-new system under head coach Jesse Minter and has been plagued with injuries in the opening month.

Baltimore is a prideful crew that stepped up in the second half of SNF and ranks among the top 10 defenses in EPA allowed and opponent success rate over the last two weeks.

The pass rush could have LB Trey Hendrickson back for Week 6. His pressure helps the Ravens’ blitz-heavy schemes get home and finally start registering sacks and QB hits.

The Cleveland Browns’ erratic offense hasn’t faced a foe this stingy since a Week 1 wash against Jacksonville.

Early Ravens vs Browns total pick: Under 41.5

Kalshi probability: 49%

As solid as Huntley was on Sunday night, let’s not forget he’s a backup QB. With Huntley, the Ravens’ offense is limited to short passes and plenty of handoffs instead of Lamar (9.6 intended air yards/pass vs. just 3.8).

The Browns defense remains the bright spot for this club, currently sitting just outside of the Top 10 in major defensive measurements like DVOA and EPA allowed per play.

Cleveland recorded four sacks on the N.Y. Jets in Week 5, bringing their total to 16 sacks, the sixth most in the league.

As for the Browns offense, Deshaun Watson has felt pressure at the fourth-highest rate entering Week 6. That’s left little time for downfield plays to develop, resulting in one of the shorter completed-pass averages among QBs.

Given the spread, Baltimore is in a run-heavy second-half game script, killing clock and keeping gains short and safe. I’m leaning Under early on.
