The Kansas City Chiefs host the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of Super Bowl 59 on Sunday afternoon.

The Birds opened their season with a 24-20 win over the Cowboys, while the Chiefs fell 27-21 to the Chargers.

Here are my best free Eagles vs. Chiefs anytime touchdown picks for Sunday, September 14.

Eagles anytime touchdown pick

Jalen Hurts (-120 at FanDuel)

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has almost become a must-bet touchdown scorer each week.

Hurts ran for two scores in the Week 1 win over Dallas after combining for 19 touchdowns in 32 games across the previous two regular seasons. Of course, he also had five rushing touchdowns in four playoff games last year, including two against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.

Getting Hurts at these low odds to score doesn’t happen very often. He ran for a touchdown in 10 of 15 regular-season games last season and then in three of four postseason games.

The Chiefs haven’t allowed a ton of quarterbacks to score dating back to last season, but did see Brock Purdy, Josh Allen, Russell Wilson, and, of course, Hurts find the end zone last year.

Whether it’s with the tush push or on a scramble, Hurts is always a good bet to score, and we can’t pass him up at this price.

Chiefs anytime touchdown pick

Kareem Hunt (+260 at FanDuel)

The Chiefs weren’t able to get anything going until the second half in the Super Bowl, with Patrick Mahomes finding Xavier Worthy twice and DeAndre Hopkins once to make it a respectable score.

That wasn’t unusual for the Birds, who allowed at least two receivers to score in five of their 17 regular-season games last year.

However, with Worthy out and Hopkins in Baltimore, we have to look a different way in Week 2.

The Eagles let the Cowboys run for 119 yards on 22 carries in Week 1. While 49 of those yards were on one carry by Miles Sanders, Javonte Williams racked up 54 yards on 15 carries. Oh yeah, he also found the end zone twice.

Kareem Hunt is never going to get back to the form of his early years in Kansas City, but he had seven touchdowns in 13 games last season, and we’re getting +260 on him to score on Sunday.

The Chiefs might be forced into running the ball a bit, and after seeing the Cowboys’ success last week, they’ll be hunting for the end zone on the ground.
