The unbeaten 49ers are walking into a great matchup against the Commanders' shaky pass defense, so it's no surprise that Brock Purdy and George Kittle headline my favorite MNF prop picks.

For all the talk of an NFC West bloodbath, the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers can establish an even firmer grip on the division in this Monday Night Football matchup, and they're clear favorites against a Washington Commanders team fresh off an overtime blunder in Week 5.

That's partly thanks to Brock Purdy, who's building an impressive MVP case. He features in my Commanders vs. 49ers prop picks alongside George Kittle, a key San Francisco red-zone weapon capable of exposing Washington's defensive flaws.

Take a closer look at this Monday, Oct. 19 contest with my free NFL picks and our full Commanders vs. 49ers predictions.

Prop pick #1: George Kittle anytime TD

George Kittle has exceeded all expectations with his speedy return from an Achilles tear, finding the end zone four times this season as the hub of a locked-in San Francisco 49ers offense. I'd bet this up to 50%.

That's bad news for the Washington Commanders, who are allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game (255) and are tied for the most passing TDs (14). The visitors also have thin safety depth, making the Kittle assignment an even bigger concern.

After watching Isaiah Likely haul in 11 catches for 94 yards and two scores last weekend, I expect the Commanders to struggle against another tight end. Plus, Deebo Samuel's hamstring injury takes another TD threat off the board for the 49ers.

The Kittle receiving yards Over is worth a look, too.

Prop pick #2: Brock Purdy Over 249.5 passing yards

With Brock Purdy nailing this Over in five of his last eight outings at Levi's Stadium, it's going to be a long night for the struggling Washington defense — and this is playable up to 55%.

Purdy leads the NFL with a QBR of 85.7, and he's averaging 239.2 passing yards per game despite tough matchups against the Seahawks and Broncos.

But this pick is mostly about the Commanders' weaknesses on that side of the ball. While the visitors boast one of the 10 stingiest run defenses (95.4 YPG), I don't see their flailing secondary keeping up with Kittle and Mike Evans.

Washington coughed up 326 passing yards to Jameis Winston in Week 5, including four 20-plus-yard completions.

Prop pick #3: Austin Ekeler Over 6.5 receiving yards

The Commanders will be without Jacory Croskey-Merritt for this MNF showdown, and that should nudge Austin Ekeler into a bigger role alongside Rachaad White. Ekeler has hauled in a reception of 10 or more yards in each of his last two games, and this line feels too low for a proven receiver out of the backfield.

This prop is playable up to 55%, with Ekeler primed to be a key checkdown target for Jayden Daniels against a San Francisco pass rush that generated a season-high 51% pressure rate in Week 5.

If Washington falls behind, Ekeler should see more snaps, and he only needs one grab to hit this tiny O/U number.
