Jason Logan’s expert pick: Jayden Daniels 1+ INTs

With a negative game script likely facing the Washington Commanders, Jayden Daniels will be dropping back a lot and throwing for deeper strikes in an effort to catch up.

Daniels ranks 36th in danger plays (risks that could result in a turnover), and he's put up the 12th-highest percentage of bad throws per dropback. Yet the signal-caller hasn't thrown an interception this season over limited work. It happens tonight.

Josh Inglis' expert pick: Brock Purdy 20+ rushing yards

Brock Purdy is 4-1 O/U on his rushing total this season, and it closed with a line of 25.5 yards last week. He's rushed for 29+ yards in all four Overs and projects for 29.4 yards on the ground Monday night, making 20+ yards at 44% the best +EV prop in this game. I'd buy it up to 54%.

Jameis Winston (27 yards on a 2.5-yard total), Dak Prescott (26 yards on a 12.5-yard total), and Jalen Hurts (46 yards on a 30.5-yard total) all set season-high rushing marks against Washington. Purdy currently ranks sixth at his position in scramble yards and fifth in designed runs.

Joe Osborne's expert pick: 49ers -7.5

Some might argue this is a “letdown spot” for the San Francisco 49ers, but I’m not buying it at home with an extra day to prepare. The 49ers are 13-1 straight up and 10-4 against the spread as favorites since the start of last season.

Washington ranks last in red-zone touchdown percentage allowed, and it's clashing with the NFL’s best red-zone offense. The Commanders also rank 30th in scoring defense, and that unit will be trying to stop San Francisco’s third-ranked scoring attack. That’s an avalanche of disadvantages for a team still figuring out when to spike the ball.

Jon Metler’s expert pick: George Kittle touchdown

I'm hitting the button on George Kittle to score a touchdown at 46% against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football, as I make his chances closer to 51%.

Washington will rely heavily on its linebackers to attack downhill and flow sideline-to-sideline to defend San Francisco's wide-zone running game in the red zone. That creates an opportunity for Kyle Shanahan to use Kittle's reputation as a run blocker against the Commanders' linebackers, incorporating misdirection to catch them off guard and create easy touchdown chances.
