The BYU Cougars are rolling, looking to move to 5-0 on the year as they host the beleaguered West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday night.
The 23rd-ranked Cougars are one of the highest scoring teams in the Big 12, and should be able to put up points on the 2-3 Mountaineers, who have a Bottom-3 defense in the conference.

West Virginia vs BYU props for Week 6
Bachmeier o37.5 rush yds (-114)
Roberts anytime TD (-115)
Ryan o39.5 rec yds (-114)
Prop bet #1: Bear Bachmeier Over 37.5 rushing yards
About the only thing ailing the BYU Cougars currently is the depth at running back behind LJ Martin.
Backup Sione Moa left with an undisclosed injury in their 24-21 win over Colorado, and the duo behind him, Enoch Nawahine and Preston Rex, totaled a single carry between them.
No matter, as do-everything pivot Bear Bachmeier filled the void against the Buffs, leading the team in rushing with 98 yards on a season-high 15 carries.
Martin will be the constant at running back, but Bachmeier has a very gettable 37.5-yard rush line.
If he gets anywhere close to double-digit carries, this feels like an easy over against a West Virginia Mountaineers team allowing 153 rush yards per game.
Prop bet #2: Chase Roberts anytime TD
Martin has scored just one TD on the season, but he’s got a juiceless -290 to score Friday.
Instead, let’s turn our attention to leading receiver Chase Roberts, who hauled in a pair of TD passes against Colorado, giving him a team-leading three touchdown grabs.
West Virginia has given up 10 TD passes on the year, the only school in the Big 12 that’s hit the double-digit mark already.
I like Roberts finding his way to paydirt in back-to-back games.
Prop bet #3: Carsen Ryan Over 39.5 receiving yards
Let’s wrap with BYU’s tight end Carsen Ryan, who is second on the team in receiving, and hauled in three balls for 46 yards against the Buffs.
His receiving yards line is set at 39.5, which is definitely worth jumping on, considering he’s hit the 40-yard receiving plateau in three of the Cougars’ four games this season. His only miss was a three-catch, 36-yard effort against Stanford.
Ryan had his best receiving game of the year by far last season against Colorado, with four catches for 78 yards.
