The Ohio State Buckeyes are a well-oiled machine on both sides of the ball, but let’s take a closer look at the offense, which averages 441.4 yards per game on a healthy 7.0 yards per play.
The Buckeyes lead the nation in success rate, meaning they should have a substantial advantage at home against a UCLA Bruins defense ranked 134th in success rate. There are mismatches, and then there’s whatever this is — a murder?
The Bruins can’t stop the run at all (134th in rushing success rate allowed), surrendering 191.1 yards per game on the ground. The defensive front is a pushover unit (129th in front seven havoc, 127th in defensive line yards, 133rd in stuff rate) that Ohio State’s offensive line will overpower.
