The Palmetto Series continues today with a matchup between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers at historic Memorial Stadium in Clemson, SC. Kickoff is set for Noon ET on ESPN.

The Gamecocks offense is firing on all cylinders, and my South Carolina vs. Clemson predictions expect the Gamecocks to score big against the Tigers' defense.

Read on as I explain my college football picks on Saturday, November 30.

South Carolina vs Clemson prediction and best bet

Who will win South Carolina vs Clemson?

I like South Carolina to pull off the upset. They are scoring big, and Clemson may have trouble slowing Gamecocks dual-threat quarterback LaNorris Sellers.

Norris has 13 scoring strikes across his last five, and the Gamecocks offense can score enough to keep this one close enough for Sellers and the red-hot South Carolina offense to pull off the upset.

My best bet
South Carolina team total Over 23.5 points (-120 at BetMGM)

My analysis

The Palmetto Series matchup between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers rivalry game should be a fun one.

South Carolina rolls into Clemson riding a five-game winning streak. The Gamecocks are looking for their ninth win of the season and to be the first South Carolina team to win that many regular season games since 2019.

The Gamecocks offense is purring; they average 403 total yards per clash and have scored 28+ in each of their last five. South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers has thrown for 2,110 yards and 17 scoring strikes, including 13 across the Gamecocks' five-game winning streak.

Clemson will have its hands full slowing Sellers; the Tigers surrender only 210 passing yards per game, but they’ve allowed seven passing TDs in the red zone and 18 passing TDs overall.

The Gamecocks also rush the football as they’ve scampered for 1,183 yards with 23 rushing TDs. Running back Raheim Sanders tops the group with 11 touchdowns, while Sellers has 489 yards with five TDs.

Clemson is beatable against the rush as they’ve allowed 11 rushing touchdowns, so I’m taking Over on South Carolina’s team total.

South Carolina is coming in hot. They’ve scored 24+ in each of their last six. They can move the chains with their feet or the air and meet a Clemson defense, allowing 24+ in two of their previous five.

The Gamecocks will be the best offense the Tigers have played in recent weeks, and they’ll have too much trouble containing Sellers on Saturday. I like the Gamecocks to clear their team total.

South Carolina vs Clemson same-game parlay (SGP)

South Carolina team total Over 23.5 points

LaNorris Sellers 2+ TD passes

Over 49.5

Sellers should have a target-rich environment to continue his hot play. He’s slung 13 scoring strikes across his last five, and he’s up against a Clemson defense allowing 18 TD receptions this season.

He slings two and South Carolina goes over the team total. Clemson will have trouble keeping Sellers out of the end zone, but South Carolina’s exceptional defense may have difficulties slowing Tigers QB Cade Klubnik and the Tigers.

South Carolina is stingy against the rush, but they surrender 200 passing yards per game and nine TD receptions. Klubnik has thrown 27 scoring strikes, and I like the possibility of a shootout so much that I’ll play the Over.
