It’s a relatively small night slate in Week 9, but there are still some appealing player props on the board.
Receivers CJ Williams and Omarion Miller have difficult matchups on paper, but both are the alphas of their respective rooms, and quarterback Bryce Underwood has a favorable matchup.
See my three favorite player props for the Week 9 night slate with my college football picks for Saturday, October 25.
Best college football player props for the Week 9 late slate
| Player | Pick | |

| Over 41.5 receiving yards | -114 | |
| Over 16.5 rushing yards | -114 | |
Omarion Miller |
Over 37.5 receiving yards | -114 |
Prop bet #1: CJ Williams Over 41.5 receiving yards
The Stanford Cardinal don’t have a ton going for them in 2025, but one bright spot has been CJ Williams at wide receiver. Once an intriguing high school recruit who has since bounced around several schools, CJ Williams has found his home in Palo Alto as Stanford’s go-to receiver.
The Mission Viejo product has been a consistent weapon, racking up 60+ yards in four consecutive contests. He’s averaging 100.1 receiving yards per game in that span and has found pay dirt twice.
Since there isn’t a whole lot else going on offensively for Stanford, Williams is peppered with a consistent dose of targets. The senior has seen 46 targets in his last four contests, and he should continue doing so in Week 9 with Stanford likely to be playing from behind for the majority of the contest as 30.5-point underdogs at the No. 9 Miami Hurricanes.
His quarterback, Ben Gulbranson, was knocked out of the Cardinal’s last contest but has since improved health-wise and is considered probable. We know Gulbranson loves him some Williams, so this number is too low for the veteran wideout.

Prop bet #2: Bryce Underwood Over 16.5 rushing yards
True freshman Bryce Underwood is a true threat with his legs, but the Michigan Wolverines’ coaching staff doesn’t always take advantage of this ability. Here’s betting that they do in Week 9 in a rivalry game against the Michigan State Wolverines, who field a subpar stop unit.
Underwood averaged 28.9 rushing yards per game, so his prop of 16.5 rushing yards stands out as a discount. The Spartans have a very poor defense overall (128th in success rate allowed) and struggle against the run (111th in rushing success rate), primarily due to a soft defensive front (133rd in power success rate).
One thing you should always be aware of when handicapping college quarterbacks’ rushing yardage props is negative sack yardage. Here, Michigan State ranks 99th in pass rush grade (per PFF) and has only 13 sacks on the season. The concern of losing out on rushing yards due to havoc plays is mitigated in this matchup.
With running back Justice Haynes banged up and this being a rivalry game, Underwood may see a slight uptick in rushing usage.

Prop bet #3: Omarion Miller Over 37.5 receiving yards
Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes face a tall order as 13.5-point underdogs against the Utah Utes. That should lead to an uptick in pass attempts as they’re projected to be playing from behind on the road at Rice-Eccles.
Omarion Miller has emerged as a valuable member of the passing attack, pacing the team in receiving yards (371) and receiving touchdowns (4). He’s been especially busy lately, posting 80+ yards in three of his last four games.
Utah is known for being a difficult matchup, but the Utes’ biggest defensive flaw this season has been allowing big pass plays (118th in passing explosiveness allowed). Miller is primed to exploit this weakness, averaging an eye-popping 18.6 yards per reception and possessing the requisite size and athleticism to keep Utah’s corners honest.
Miller has gone Under this number just once this season in six games.
