Missouri vs Mississippi Picks & Props
MIZZ vs MISS Picks
NCAAF PicksPlayable to 51%.
The Under is 8-2 in the Rebels last 10 games as a home favorite. Windy conditions this weekend in Oxford could contribute to some struggles throwing the ball downfield, which has the potential to limit explosive plays through the air.
Playable to 53%.
Heisman contender Trinidad Chambliss has propelled Ole Miss to a 4-1 SU start to the season, including a wins over No. 24 Louisville and No. 7 LSU. The Rebels were blown out by the Gators in an emotional letdown spot after getting revenge on Lane Kiffin, who left Ole Miss prior to the team's appearance in last year's College Football Playoff to take more money at LSU. Other than that, Ole Miss has looked like one of the best teams in the nation.
In Week 6, Ole Miss scored a touchdown on four of their first five possessions against Vanderbilt -- a team that held Auburn to 21 points and gave Georgia their toughest test of the 2026 season.
Pro Football Focus has Mississippi's offense graded 28th-best in the nation, but that is likely underselling how impressive they have been early in 2026.
A major reason for Chambliss' success has been an excellent offensive line that has given him a clean pocket on 81.6% of his dropbacks. Missouri doesn't have an overwhelming pass rush. They pressured Marcel Reed on only 29.5% of his dropbacks in Week 6. Chambliss should have time to operate in this matchup, which should allow Ole Miss to consistently put themselves in position to score points.
My power ratings make this spread 6.5, so a bit of a disparity there to start. Ole Miss is the much fresher team here, off a bye, off an easy blowout win where they won by 35. Meanwhile, how many games in a row can we expect an A+ effort out of Missouri who I have concerns about.
My power ratings make Mississippi a 6.5-point favorite, and we’re trading at Kalshi because they have one of the best prices on the market. Those power ratings also don’t take into consideration the energy level of a team. I have concerns about a Missouri team that's playing their seventh straight week and coming off big-time efforts vs. Florida and Texas A&M. You can make a case that we’re selling “high” off two point spread covers by a combined 50 points. Meanwhile, Mississippi should be fresh. The Rebels had a bye two weeks ago and then last week easily dispatched Vanderbilt by 35 points.
Playable to 36%.
Missouri's early-season road struggles are difficult to overlook, especially heading into a ranked matchup against a top-tier SEC opponent. Expect this to be a physical game between two top schools, but for Ole Miss to prevail at home. The wind could play a factor in keeping this total under such a high number this weekend.
