The playoff push is on as we reach Week 10 of the college football season, and there’s still plenty of value out there for bettors targeting touchdown scorer picks.

I’m going down south to find my college football picks for Saturday’s slate. That means taking CJ Daniels, Chauncey Bowens, and Malachi Hosley all to score and return us some solid value this weekend.

College football anytime touchdown picks for Week 10

  • Miami CJ Daniels (+125)
  • Georgia Chauncey Bowens (+150)
  • Georgia Tech Malachi Hosley (+100)

Prop bet #1: CJ Daniels anytime TD

+125 at FanDuel

He may not be in a position to get a ton of catches, but CJ Daniels continues to produce big moments for the Miami Hurricanes this year. He now has six touchdowns on just 33 receptions this year. The former Liberty standout may not be a big play threat at this level — he’s averaging only 10.6 yards per catch — but he clearly has a nose for the endzone, having scored 28 times in total during his collegiate career.

Daniels added to his total last week against Stanford, even has he only caught three balls for eight yards. He should have more chances for success on Saturday against the SMU Mustangs, who've struggled to do much of anything against competent passing attacks.

Opposing teams are averaging 303.5 yards per game through the air against the Mustangs, earning 12.8 yards per completion. That tells me that Carson Beck should have little trouble moving the ball against SMU, and Daniels has a great chance to be the beneficiary of another red-zone touchdown reception as a result.

Prop bet #2: Chauncey Bowens anytime TD

+150 at FanDuel

Freshman running back Chauncey Bowens has made the most of his first year with the Georgia Bulldogs. Bowens has 10+ carries in five of his first seven college games, and has scored four touchdowns, while also getting occasional touches in the passing game.

Bowens isn’t yet the clear, primary runner for the Bulldogs. Quarterback Gunner Stockton gets the most touchdowns (seven this year), while Nate Frazier leads the team with 77 carries, nut it’s Bowens who has the most yardage and the best average per carry for Georgia among the top ballcarriers, and that should see his workload increase as the year goes on.

The Florida Gators have been solid enough against the running game this year, but not to an extent that would take the Bulldogs out of their game plan, which always features the running game prominently. Bowens will get his share of the carries on Saturday afternoon, and at +150, this is excellent value.

Prop bet #3: Malachi Hosley anytime TD

+100 at FanDuel

If you’re just looking for anyone on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to score at any odds, Haynes King is the obvious choice, but for value, you can’t beat running back Malachi Hosley, who's still an even money pick to get a touchdown this week despite finding the endzone six times this season.

The junior running back is averaging a robust 7.9 yards per carry, and has seen his usage settle in at 8-11 carries per game over the last month. While he didn’t find paydirt last week against Syracuse, he had done so in each of the previous two games, and the 81 yards he picked up on eight carries against Syracuse likely ensures he keeps getting the ball moving forward.

Hosley has a nice matchup this week as well. While the NC State Wolfpack will give Georgia Tech a game, their defense is shaky, allowing 4.1 yards per rush and 29.9 ppg. That should be good news for everyone in the Yellow Jackets rushing attack, including Hosley.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
