Against the Spread (ATS) Pick

West Virginia is off to a terrific start to its season, with the lone loss coming by just five points against National Championship favorite Gonzaga

That said, the Mountaineers haven't been efficient on the offensive end of the floor, shooting just 39.9 percent from the field. They've been particularly poor from beyond the arc, connecting on just 31.1 percent of their shots from deep and hitting just 5.5 three-pointers per game—well outside the Top-200 schools in the country.

Those struggles on offense will make it difficult for West Virginia to cover a 7.5-point spread against a very experienced Richmond squad that limits opponents to 41.9 percent shooting, including 24.7 percent shooting from long range.

Richmond went 24-7 SU last season and finished the campaign with nine wins in its final ten games. The Spiders have a senior-laden squad led by Grant Golden, Jacob Gilyard and Nathan Cayo, and proved they were for real with a dominating early-season performance against Kentucky on the road.

Richmond has played very well on both sides of the ball, shooting a sizzling 57.2 percent from two-point range, and should be able to do enough to make this contest close.

PREDICTION: Richmond +7.5 (-110)

Over/Under Pick

With the exception of a high-scoring shootout with Gonzaga, West Virginia is a team that usually plays in lower-scoring games. The Under has gone 20-9-1 in the Mountaineers' last 30 games and their tough, physical brand of basketball epitomizes head coach Bob Huggins' defensive system.

Neither team plays a fast pace and will likely try to slow things down in what should be a very competitive game. With Richmond's recent strides on defense and West Virginia's track record for stout defensive play, we're backing the Under.

PREDICTION: Under 147.5 (-110)
