Warriors vs Spurs prediction

Warriors vs Spurs best bet: Spurs -3.5 (-110)

The Golden State Warriors are fresh off an ugly 126-102 loss in Oklahoma City last night. They have now lost six-straight road games while the San Antonio Spurs are 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread at home this season.

The Spurs are led by third-year superstar Victor Wembanyama who is averaging 25.7 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.9 blocks per game. The 7-foot-4 center is a cheat code who is already the league's best defensive player and can't be guarded one-on-one.

The Spurs are missing standout rookie Dylan Harper but that's been offset by the return of De'Aaron Fox who made his season debut on Saturday. With Fox and Stephon Castle in the backcourt and Wemby anchoring the frontcourt the Spurs look like contenders.

The Warriors are 21st in the NBA in offensive efficiency (112.9) with that number dropping to 108.2 on the road. They'll find it tough to get buckets against the Spurs who are fifth in defensive rating and allow just 108.0 ppg at home.

With this old Warriors team on a back-to-back and struggling on the road, fade them against a well-rested and hungry Spurs squad.

Warriors vs Spurs same-game parlay

The Warriors attack the rim at one of the lowest rates in the league while attempting threes at the second-highest rate. That will result in fewer shot-blocking opportunities for Wembanyama inside.

One of those high-volume three-point shooters is Moses Moody who is second on the Dubs in treys per game (2.6) and three-point percentage (43.3%).

He'll have the green light to shoot from long range against a Spurs squad that is dead-last in the league in opponent three-point percentage (39.7%).
