Best NBA Player Props Today for 11-12: Ant-Man Activated

Anthony Edwards is clicking on all cylinders to begin 2024, and we expect the Timberwolves superstar to thrive when he faces a Trail Blazers squad that has been a sieve on defense.

The 2024 NBA Cup tips off with eight games on the board and that gives us plenty of player props to sink our teeth into.

I'm backing T-Wolves superstar Anthony Edwards and Suns guard Bradley Beal in my NBA picks while fading Knicks sixth-man Miles McBride. Here are my best free NBA player props for Tuesday, November 12.

NBA player props for November 12

Prop bet #1: Miles McBride Under 10.5 points

-120 at bet365

The O/U on Miles McBride's points total is set at 10.5, a number he has gone below in four of his last six games. The New York Knicks sixth-man is fresh off a disappointing outing against the defensively inept Pacers, where he finished 3-for-9 from the floor for just seven points.

Now he faces a Philadelphia 76ers squad that plays at the third-slowest tempo in the league, and with the Knicks playing even slower, we should see a sluggish pace here. The Sixers tightened up on D when Paul George returned to the lineup last week (13th in defensive rating over the last four games), and they'll defend the rim even better with Joel Embiid set to make his season debut tonight.

When you also consider that McBride is dealing with knee inflammation,  taking the Under on his points is the smart play.

Prop bet #2: Bradley Beal Over 2.5 threes made

-120 at bet365

With Kevin Durant sidelined for at least two weeks with a calf strain, Bradley Beal should see his usage rate surge. Durant leads the Phoenix Suns in usage rate (27.5%) and his absence should lead to more touches for Beal (19.9%).

Although some of those shots will go to Devin Booker, there are plenty to go around. Don't forget that Beal was the go-to scorer with the Wizards for years (29.2% usage rate in 2023) before being traded to Phoenix and settling into the No. 3 role.

Even with Durant in the lineup, Beal has knocked down at least three 3-pointers in six of nine games this year. He should dial it up from deep even more tonight against a Utah Jazz squad that plays at a fast pace and struggles defensively. The Jazz allow the fourth-most points per game (118.9) in the NBA while ranking 26th in 3-pointers allowed per game (14.4).

Prop bet #3: Anthony Edwards Over 26.5 points

-110 at bet365

Anthony Edwards made his first All-NBA team last season after averaging 25.9 points per game, and he's seriously improved his outside shot this year. The Minnesota Timberwolves guard is averaging 28.3 ppg in 2024 on a sizzling effective field goal percentage of 60.3%.

Edwards is coming off a poor performance against the Heat where he went just 8-for-24 from the floor and 4-for-14 from deep, but that was an outlier and he should bounce back today against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The T-Wolves superstar torched Portland for 37 points in a blowout win last week, and the Blazers have been terrible defensively, ranking 22nd in the league in points per game allowed (116.6) and 27th in opponent EFG% (56%).
