We’ve got a busy Sunday slate for making NBA picks with nine games on tap.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is off to a hot start, and I’m expecting him to put up some points against the skidding Indiana Pacers in my NBA player props for Sunday, October 26.

Wizards Kyshawn George Over 2.5 threes made -110

Prop #1: Anthony Edwards Over 29.5 points

-115 at bet365

Anthony Edwards has improved steadily every year, and the Minnesota Timberwolves star may be reaching his final form this season.

Edwards dropped 41 points in Minnesota’s season opener vs. Portland, and followed that up with another 31 points vs. Los Angeles on Friday.

While his shooting volume is high at 23.5 field goal attempts per game, Edwards hasn’t just been chucking shots from anywhere. The Timberwolves guard has been efficient, shooting over 53% from the field and exactly 50% (8-for-16) from 3-point range.

He’ll tip off against the Indiana Pacers, who have had a miserable start to their season on the defensive side of the court. Indiana is giving up an NBA-worst 134.5 ppg to go along with 96 opponent field goal attempts per game — third-most in the league.

Prop #2: Austin Reaves Over 29.5 points and assists

-120 at bet365

With Luka Doncic (finger) listed as questionable for tonight’s contest and LeBron James (sciatica) still out, the ball could be in Austin Reaves’ hands tonight — literally and figuratively.

The Lakers guard has seen an uptick in his minutes as well as his production in this early season as the team tries to reinvent itself without LeBron for the time being.

Reaves has formed a solid duo with Doncic so far, averaging 25.5 ppg to go along with 10 assists per game. He’s cleared 29.5 points and assists easily in each of his first two outings, and I expect the same tonight as he should get plenty of touches vs. the Sacramento Kings.

If Doncic is good to go, I expect he and Reaves to put up another high-scoring game, as they’ve combined for over 70 ppg through two contests. If Doncic is out, Reaves will have to carry the load on his own, which should juice his totals.

Prop #3: Kyshawn George Over 2.5 threes made

-110 at bet365

Sophomore slump? More like sophomore surge.

Kyshawn George has emerged as an early star for the Washington Wizards this season, averaging 27.5 ppg — nearly 20 points above last season’s rate.

The forward can attribute his early success largely to his 3-point accuracy, as he’s shooting over 66% (10-for-15) from behind the arc.

George has dropped Over 2.5 treys in both games this season, and I think that trend holds against the Charlotte Hornets tonight.

Charlotte is allowing 16 three pointers per game, the seventh-most in the NBA this year, with opponents shooting over 40% from beyond the arc.
