Week 5 in the NBA kicks off in style with an eight-game slate on Monday. With 16 teams in action, there are no shortage of NBA player props, and I’ve got three of my favorites ready to go.
My top NBA picks for Monday, November 17, look at Jalen Duren to crash the boards, James Harden to stuff the stat sheet, and Jaden McDaniels to stay hot on offense.

Prop #1: Jalen Duren Over 11.5 rebounds
Jalen Duren missed the Detroit Pistons' last two games with an ankle injury, but he’s expected to return to the lineup tonight. In four games before his injury, Duren averaged 15.8 boards and pulled down at least 12 in three of them.
Dating back to the 2023-24 season, Duren has nabbed 12+ rebounds in six of his last seven matchups with the Indiana Pacers.
Indiana has allowed the second-most rebounds per game to opponents, and I expect Duren to clean the glass at home in his return to action on Monday.

Prop #2: James Harden Over 43.5 points + rebounds + assists
Veteran Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden is putting up 25 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game this season, good for 40.4 PRA. With Kawhi Leonard set to miss extended time and Bradley Beal done for the season, it’s the Harden show in LA.
Over his last five games with Leonard out, Harden has averaged 44.2 PRA, and he’s hit the Over on this line in two of three. The Philadelphia 76ers defense is middle-of-the-pack in points, rebounds, and assists allowed.
I anticipate monster usage for Harden on Monday, and a matchup with his former team should fuel him to be at his best.

Prop #3: Jaden McDaniels Over 14.5 points
Jaden McDaniels is averaging a career-best 17.7 points and 1.7 points per game this season, and he’s doing it with career-best efficiency, shooting 54.9% from the floor, 50% from beyond the arc, and 84.8% from the charity stripe.
He’s hit the Over on this scoring line in eight of 13 appearances, including four of his last five. McDaniels is averaging 19.3 points per game at home compared to 16.3 on the road, and he’s gone for 15+ points in four of six at Target Center.
The Dallas Mavericks defense is below-average in points per game allowed, and I expect McDaniels to stay hot tonight.
