Logan's prediction: Josh Hart has brought a warrior’s mentality off the bench for the Knicks, and you can count on him to keep doing the dirty work, no matter how Game 6 plays out.

Josh Hart New York Knicks NBA

The New York Knicks kept their season alive and gave Big Apple bettors something to cheer about, forcing a Game 6 showdown with the Indiana Pacers in tonight's Eastern Conference Finals.

Josh Hart continues to be a difference-maker in this series. Despite coming off the bench in the last two games, he's still seeing heavy minutes and stuffing the stat sheet across the board.

Whether the Knicks win or not, Hart’s all-around impact makes him a solid target in my Knicks vs. Pacers predictions and NBA picks for Saturday, May 31.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.ET from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with the game airing on TNT.

Who will win Knicks vs Pacers Game 6?

After getting blown out in Game 5, the Pacers head back to Indiana, where oddsmakers are backing them to finish the job in Game 6.

The moneyline gives Indiana an implied win probability of 64% on Saturday, and history is on their side — the Pacers are 23-12 straight up following a loss this season, including a dominant 10-3 mark at home in that spot. They’re also a perfect 3-0 after a loss in the playoffs.

With that track record, I’m betting on Indiana to punch its ticket to the Finals for the first time since 2000.

Knicks vs Pacers prediction

My best bet: Josh Hart Over 13.5 rebounds + assists (-110 at bet365)

Josh Hart has played 34 and 36 minutes as a “bench player” the past two games, but the reserve role is simply a formality.

The gritty shooting guard is the beating heart of this New York Knicks team, doing all the little things to keep his squad alive. Along with scoring 12 points for the second straight night, Hart hauled in 10 rebounds and dished out four assists in Game 5’s victory.

His advanced metrics for Thursday’s game shows a spike in potential assists, jumping from a series average of 8.0 in the first four games to 11.0 in Game 5. Hart has registered four or more dimes in three of the ECF contests so far.

On the glass, he continues to have a nose for the ball. Hart is second in rebounding chance for the series behind only Karl-Anthony Towns, averaging 17.6 rebound chances versus the Indiana Pacers. Those have manifested into 10 rebounds per game for the series.

With the Eastern Conference Finals swinging back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, player projections for Hart are a little more conservative. His rebounding forecast bounced between 8.6 and 10 boards, while his assists range from 4.5 to 5.1 for Game 6.

Hart has finished with 14 or more rebounds + assists in three of the first five games of this series, and in nine of his last 15 postseason appearances going back to Game 3 versus Detroit.

Knicks vs Pacers same-game parlay

Josh Hart 10+ rebounds

Josh Hart 5+ assists

Pacers moneyline

Hart has posted double-figures in rebounds in four of the five ECF games and sits second in average rebounding chances for Round 3 at 17.3.

His potential assists spiked to 11.0 in Game 5, and some projections are above five dimes from Hart on Saturday.

The Pacers 5-2 SU but just 4-3 ATS at home in the playoffs. This could be closer than the 4-point spread, so I’ll simply take Indiana to win outright.
