The injury hits keep coming for the New York Knicks, with OG Anunoby joining Jalen Brunson on the sidelines. Tonight they face a Miami Heat team that can sympathize with playing short-handed.

As these teams square off for the second time in four days, Miami will again be without Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. My Knicks vs. Heat predictions point to the supporting casts on both squads answering the call, especially Josh Hart.

Knicks vs Heat prediction

Knicks vs Heat best bet: Josh Hart Over 21.5 points + rebounds (-106)

Josh Hart is the likeliest choice to take Anunoby’s spot in the New York Knicks starting five, and that opens the door to a monster stat line. So throw out his recent numbers in a smaller role off the bench, because the Knicks now need Hart to step back into his "iron man" persona from the Thibs era.

We saw some of that on Friday, as Hart tallied a 12-point, 11-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in 34 minutes against the Miami Heat, and his do-it-all style can help keep New York afloat when Karl-Anthony Towns heads to the bench. After all, the Knicks can’t count on another 36-point explosion from Landry Shamet, who helped to sink the Heat last week.

Even playing next to KAT and Mitchell Robinson, there will be rebounds for Hart to gobble up against the up-tempo hosts. While I’m a little skeptical about a repeat of the shootout that these teams served up in their last meeting, there’s no escaping the fact that both rank in the Top 6 in field goal attempts per game.

Don’t look for New York to run many offensive plays for Hart, but he can pad his numbers in transition, on the offensive glass, with and wide open 3-pointers.

Knicks vs Heat same-game parlay

Simone Fontecchio has emerged as a trusted sharpshooter off the bench for Erik Spoelstra, and he’s gone past this number in three of his last five contests. He’s also knocking down his 3-pointers at a 49% clip so far this year.

I’m also riding with the Knicks, who’ve won four of the past five meetings between these teams. The visitors are still looking for their first road victory of the season, but they’re 8-4 ATS overall.

Knicks vs Heat SGP

  • Josh Hart Over 21.5 points + rebounds
  • Simone Fontecchio Over 9.5 points
  • Knicks +1.5

Our "from downtown" SGP: Powell pours in the triples

Norman Powell has a neon green light with Miami short on proven bucket-getters, and he’s on a tear from downtown, making 17 3-pointers across his last three outings. He probably won’t match his eight triples from Friday night, but I like this Over nonetheless.

Knicks vs Heat SGP

  • Josh Hart Over 21.5 points + rebounds
  • Simone Fontecchio Over 9.5 points
  • Knicks +1.5
  • Norman Powell Over 3.5 3-pointers

Knicks vs Heat odds

  • Spread: Knicks +1.5 | Heat -1.5
  • Moneyline: Knicks +106 | Heat -124
  • Over/Under: Over 244.5 | Under 244.5
