Shane Van Gisbergen will try to start a new road course win streak at Watkins Glen International this Sunday after losing for the first time in six road races at Circuit of the Americas earlier this season to Tyler Reddick.

My Go Bowling at The Glen sleeper picks are looking beyond these two, as well as SVG teammate Connor Zilisch, in the NASCAR Cup Series odds for May 10.

Go Bowling at The Glen sleeper predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Chris Buescher
+1800 at DraftKings

Chris Buescher is second only to Shane Van Gisbergen is average finish at road courses among full-time drivers since 2023, clocking in at 9.9 vs. SVG's 7.3 mark.

While SVG has six wins in that span vs. Buescher's one, it should be noted that the latter's lone victory came right here at Watkins Glen in 2024.

Buescher has posted four additional Top 10s in eight road races since, leading laps on three occasions.

Sleeper pick to win: Chase Briscoe
+2200 at DraftKings

A transaxle malfunction at COTA earlier this year has served to dirty up Chase Briscoe's road course form, driving up his odds. Briscoe had a great chance at his first road course triumph in the Cup Series prior to that issue.

Briscoe has run fifth and sixth, respectively, in back-to-back races at Watkins Glen, and was second behind SVG at Sonoma in 2025.

He's been knocking at the door with laps led in four of his last five road races; Sunday offers a great chance for him to kick it down.

Sleeper pick to win: AJ Allmendinger
+2200 at DraftKings

AJ Allmendinger is a former Cup Series winner at Watkins Glen, albeit in 2014. However, it's not like he's been completely lost at sea here since.

Allmendinger was second at Watkins Glen in 2022 and fourth in 2023, picking up stage points three times out of four.

After suffering transmission issues en route to a 36th in 2024, he bounced back with an 11th last season.

Allmendinger is a three-time road course winner at this level, with his most recent score coming in October 2023 at the Charlotte Roval. He's averaged an 11th-place finish across his last six road efforts, with three Top 10s.
