Robert Criscola's long-shot predictions and sleeper picks for the Anduril 250 on Sunday, June 21 include Corey Heim.

Unless you're a die-hard Denny Hamlin fan, it's been a dull three weeks in the NASCAR Cup Series odds.

Fortunately, my Anduril 250 long-shot predictions and sleeper picks believe that someone will end the No. 11 driver's win streak.

Hopefully it isn't Shane Van Gisbergen, either.

See why my free betting picks believe Corey Heim will outrun his odds in the inaugural Cup Series race at Coronado Street Course in San Diego on Sunday, June 21.

NASCAR Anduril 250 sleeper picks

  • Ty Gibbs (+1600)
  • AJ Allmendinger (+2200)
  • Corey Heim (+9000)

Picks made on 6-19.

NASCAR Anduril 250 long-shot predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Ty Gibbs
+1600 at DraftKings

I've been high on Ty Gibbs' chances of late, and he might have had the car to at least challenge — if not beat — Denny Hamlin at Pocono last week but for multiple bad stops on pit road.

Gibbs' recent third at Watkins Glen looms large heading into this street race, as does his lifetime record at the similar Chicago Street Course.

The only other driver who can say that he finished Top 10 in all three races in Chicago was the late Kyle Busch.

Gibbs led 18 laps at Chicago and picked up stage points three times.

The No. 54 driver has qualified Top 10 in six of his last seven road/street races, so don't count on these odds to be available come race day. He's playable down to +1000.

Sleeper pick to win: AJ Allmendinger
+2200 at DraftKings

It's not unusual to see AJ Allmendinger factoring in on road/street races, and this Coronado Street Course event should follow suit.

Allmendinger has placed Top 10 in three straight such races, and was sixth at Chicago last season. He ranks seventh in both average finish (14.9) and average rating (90.0) among full-time drivers on road/street courses since 2023 (19 races).

Not surprisingly, Allmendinger is also sixth in average start position in Cup Series races like this. Play him down to +1600.

Sleeper pick to win: Corey Heim
+9000 at DraftKings

Let's go a little off the beaten path and target Corey Heim, who is making his road/street race debut, at least as far as the Cup Series is concerned.

Heim has made hay on races involving right turns in the Craftsman Truck Series, winning all three such events last season. His worst overall rating of the three came at Charlotte Roval, with "only" 123.2, vs. a staggering 142.4 at Watkins Glen and a perfect 150.0 at Lime Rock Park.

Heim has put together his strongest season yet as 23XI Racing's third-string driver, leading 69 laps at Texas before wrecking.

My Heim hunch is playable down to +7000, and consider a Top 10 wager down to +300.
