Dover Motor Speedway will host the NASCAR All-Star Race for the first time on Sunday, May 17.
While the venue may be familiar, my NASCAR All-Star Race sleeper picks believe the All-Star Race format could help spring a NASCAR Cup Series odds upset.
My free betting picks are led by Bubba Wallace.

NASCAR All-Star Race sleeper predictions
Sleeper pick to win: Ty Gibbs
+1200 at DraftKings
Ty Gibbs went 0-for-2 in terms of hitting the All-Star Race Top 10 at North Wilkesboro, but he did win the All-Star Open in 2024.
Gibbs is in the middle of a career year, notching his first win along with five additional Top 5s, two shy of his full-season best. That includes a third-place result at Watkins Glen last week.
The No. 54 driver has a strong track record at Dover, with his average finish of 9.3 ranking third behind only Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott.
Sleeper pick to win: William Byron
+1600 at DraftKings
William Byron has had some bad luck recently at Dover, which I believe is driving up his price for Sunday afternoon.
Byron has wrecked in back-to-back years here, but prior to that, he ran fourth in three of his last four efforts at "The Monster Mile."
The No. 24 pilot's recent overall record is also a bit dirtied up, as he spun out at Watkins Glen and was involved in "The Big One" at Talladega. Factoring those results out, he's hit the Top 10 in six of his last seven starts.
Sleeper pick to win: Bubba Wallace
+4000 at DraftKings
Bubba Wallace's recent record at Dover is much better than it looks.
Wallace averaged a 13th-place finish in the first three races following NASCAR's move of the annual Dover race to May. He then suffered an accident in the final stage of the 2024 race and checked in 32nd.
The No. 23 driver managed his best finish yet at Dover, a seventh with three laps led and a Stage 2 placing, last season.
But the cherry on top of this +4000 play is the fact that Wallace is second among current full-time drivers in average finish at the All-Star race (7.3) regardless of venue.
