Our 3 best MLB player props for Wednesday, September 10
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Freddy Peralta Under 1.5 earned runs
Freddy Peralta is 16-5 with a 2.50 ERA in 29 starts, with opponents hitting just .190. He’s been absolutely lights out since the beginning of last month.
The Milwaukee Brewers right-hander had a 0.32 ERA in August and hasn't allowed an earned run in his last five outings. Peralta tossed five innings of scoreless baseball last time out against the Phillies. Today, he’ll face the Texas Rangers, who have a .229 average against him across 35 at-bats with 19 strikeouts.

Prop #2: Paul Skenes Under 1.5 earned runs
Our MLB picks shift to another elite arm in the National League, as Paul Skenes has a mind-boggling 1.98 ERA. He’s cashed the Under 1.5 earned runs in three consecutive appearances, and two of those were against two solid opponents in the Dodgers and Red Sox.
Skenes carved up the World Series champions last week, holding them scoreless with just two hits across six frames. Skenes will pitch at home tonight against the Baltimore Orioles, and he owns a 1.54 ERA at PNC Park.
While the youngster has never faced the O’s, they’re not exactly swinging it well. I expect another impressive performance from Skenes as he continues to dominate.

Prop #3: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 total bases
Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers are up against the lowly Colorado Rockies once again tonight at Dodger Stadium, and they’ll face Kyle Freeland. The Japanese superstar has raked off the lefty in the past, going 6-for-8 with a pair of home runs.
Ohtani has cashed the Over in total bases in two of his last three contests, including a two-homer game during that span. Freeland is having a brutal campaign, and Ohtani’s track record against him is hard to ignore here.
He’s also batting .282 off southpaws, further showcasing that there's really no beating him with any consistency.
