As the weather heats up across the country, so do baseball's bats. With a full slate today, there are plenty of hitters in great situations we can target for our MLB player props.

I’m looking for Wilmer Flores to take full advantage of playing the Colorado Rockies, while Brandon Lowe and Shohei Ohtani are also in favorable matchups on Wednesday, June 11.

Best MLB player props today

  • Giants Flores o0.5 RBI (+110)
  • Rays Lowe o0.5 runs (-105)
  • Dodgers Ohtani o1.5 TB (-130)

MLB props for June 11

Wilmer Flores Over 0.5 RBI (+110 at BetMGM)

While his rate stats would suggest this is just another solid year for Wilmer Flores, his placement in the middle of the San Francisco Giants lineup has given him a lot of opportunities to drive in runs. Flores already has 50 RBI, and will almost certainly set a career-high in that category, as he has never driven in more than 71.

Flores gets a relatively soft spot tonight in the form of Colorado Rockies starter Kyle Freeland. Though he had a solid start as part of a surprising sweep of the Marlins over the weekend, Freeland has a 5.19 ERA. That’s largely coming on the back of 1.54 WHIP and a low strikeout rate (6.9 per nine innings).

With this game being played in Colorado, I’m expecting the Giants to round the bases a lot tonight, and Flores should be in the middle of it all, especially against the soft-tossing left-hander. With plus money offered at many sites, I’m taking Flores to pick up another RBI in this game.

Brandon Lowe Over 0.5 runs (-105 at BetMGM)

Looking at his overall numbers, Brandon Lowe looks like a disappointment for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2025, as he’s hitting just .242 with a concerningly low .293 OBP. But those struggles have been almost entirely confined to his inability to hit left-handed pitching. Against righties, Lowe boasts a solid .817 OPS, making him a clear platoon play for bettors.

The lefty gets a good shot at improving his numbers tonight as the Rays head into Fenway Park to take on the Boston Red Sox. Not only is Lowe batting in an excellent hitter’s park, but he’ll be facing righty Walker Buehler, who has allowed 12 runs over 7 2/3 innings in his last two starts, raising his ERA to 5.18.

Tampa Bay’s bats had slowed down a bit in recent weeks, but they’ve gone for 10+ runs in two of their last four games. Against a pitcher who seems to have lost something, I’m expecting the top of the Rays lineup to produce runs, and that means I like Lowe to get around the bases at least once tonight.

Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 total bases (-130 at bet365)

Batting out of his customary leadoff spot, Shohei Ohtani is riding a seven-game hitting streak. In four of those games, he has tallied at least two total bases, and he’s managed to do that even while suffering through a slight power slump, as he hasn’t homered in eight games.

Tonight would be a great night for that power to show again, as Ohtani faces San Diego Padres righty Randy Vasquez. While Ohtani hits well against both sides, his power primarily comes against right-handed pitching, where he slugs .671 (compared to .543 against lefties).

And while Vasquez’s numbers are solid this year, the underlying metric — he has a 5.35 FIP — suggests he’s primed for some regression.

Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
