We have a packed Tuesday of baseball with 15 games on the MLB betting slate.
The final contest is taking place on the West Coast between the Athletics and the Braves, and my MLB picks are backing A's slugger Tyler Soderstrom against a struggling rookie.
Here are my best free MLB player props for July 8.

Our 3 best MLB player props for Tuesday, July 8
Seth Lugo Under 5.5 hits allowed (-120 at bet365)
Kansas City Royals right-hander Seth Lugo has pitched to a sparkling 2.65 ERA with an OBA of .216 in 16 starts this year.
He's fresh off a strong outing on the road in Seattle, and he returns home to Kauffman Stadium for today's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Buccos are dead-last in the majors in OPS (.642), with that number dropping to an atrocious .582 on the road.
Lugo has allowed fewer than 5.5 hits in 13 of 16 starts this year, and he looks like a good bet to go below that number again.

Nathan Eovali Under 1.5 earned runs (+130 at DraftKings)
The Texas Rangers will send Nathan Eovaldi to the hill for tonight's tilt against the Los Angeles Angels.
Although the Halos have shown improvement at the plate over the last month, they still rank just 27th in the majors in batting average (.229).
Eovaldi is putting together a career-best season, pitching to a 1.75 ERA with an OBA of .191 through 77 1/3 innings.
He missed most of June with a triceps injury but looked like his previous dominant self in his last outing, holding the Orioles to a pair of hits and zero runs in five innings.
Texas's veteran righty has now allowed fewer than 2.5 earned runs in 12 of 14 starts this year.

Tyler Soderstrom Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI (-105 at bet365)
Tyler Soderstrom is coming off a stellar performance against the Giants on Sunday when he went 2-for-4 at the dish with a homer and a double.
The Athletics outfielder is slashing .253/.334/.436 and leads the club in RBI (49) while ranking third in runs (46).
Soderstrom will benefit from home-field advantage today, and he slugs .484 with the platoon advantage — which he'll have against Atlanta Braves starter Didier Fuentes.
The 20-year-old Fuentes has struggled as a rookie, pitching to a 9.00 ERA with a 1.83 WHIP through three starts.
Fuentes had a 4.81 ERA in nine starts in the minors this year, so he wasn't even impressive against a lower level of competition.
He also relies heavily on his four-seamer, which Fuentes throws 57.3% of the time.
Opposing batters are slugging .710 against that offering, while Soderstrom slugs .618 against four-seamers.
