Jorge Polanco has been mashing for the Mariners, and I'm betting on him to thrive on the road tonight in Houston.
A couple of other MLB player props that have caught my eye belong to ace Carlos Rodon and Red Sox slugger Rafael Devers. Find out how I'm attacking this May 22 slate below.

MLB props for May 22
Carlos Rodon Under 1.5 earned runs (+125 at BET99)
The New York Yankees will send ace Carlos Rodon to the hill for tonight's clash with the Texas Rangers. Rodon played at a Cy Young level in 2021 and 2022 but underperformed in his first two seasons with New York.
He's regained that previous All-Star form by pitching to a 3.17 ERA with an expected ERA of 2.88 through 10 starts. The Under 1.5 earned runs for Rodon is installed at +125, and he's gone below that number in four of his last six starts — posting a 1.72 ERA over that span.
A stiff 16 mph wind will blow towards the infield at Yankee Stadium tonight, and Texas has struggled at the dish.
The Rangers are 26th in the majors in OPS (.661), with that dropping to .626 against southpaws. They're also 26th in runs per game (3.42) and have plated just 2.83 runs per game over the last week.
Rafael Devers Over 0.5 walks (+140 at bet365)
Boston Red Sox slugger Rafael Devers is one of the most feared hitters in the world, and that has led to plenty of free passes. He's been walked in 12 of his last 16 contests and is now tied for second in the majors with 39 walks through 51 games.
Devers and the BoSox will be at home tonight against the Baltimore Orioles and struggling southpaw Cade Povich.
Povich has issued 11 walks in 26 1/3 innings over his last five starts, and Baltimore's relievers have really struggled with their control, averaging 4.48 walks per nine innings.
Jorge Polanco Over 1.5 total bases (+150 at bet365)
Jorge Polanco leads the Seattle Mariners in slugging percentage (.589) and has racked up 73 total bases through 38 games. Those numbers are especially impressive when you consider the M's play their home games at pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park.
Polanco is in the Top 15th percentile in barrel rate, average exit velocity, and hard-hit rate, and he ranks eighth in the majors in xSLG (.599).
The switch-hitting Polanco slugs .616 against righties and should excel tonight at Daikin Park against Houston Astros righty Lance McCullers Jr.
McCullers missed the last two years due to a flexor tendon injury to his throwing arm. He's struggled since returning earlier this month, pitching to an xERA of 8.74 with an xBA of .331 through three starts.
