Mookie Betts is one of the best baseball players in the world, and with the Dodgers' offense rolling, he's been plating plenty of runs.
Betts highlights my favorite MLB player props for tonight. I'm also betting on big days from MacKenzie Gore and Jose Ramirez on Friday, May 16.

MLB props for May 16
Jose Ramirez Over 1.5 total bases (-115 at SportsInteraction)
Jose Ramirez is putting together another excellent season for the Cleveland Guardians, leading the club in slugging percentage (.510) and OPS (.873). The five-time Silver Slugger recipient has been red-hot, slashing .395/.500/.711 over the last two weeks.
He has a great matchup on his hands today against the Cincinnati Reds and right-hander Brady Singer. Singer has a 4.97 ERA through eight starts, and he relies primarily on a sinker that he throws 43% of the time.
Ramirez has an incredible 1.091 SLG against sinkers this year and slugged .573 against the offering last year. He also has a history of dominating Singer, going 12-for-27 at the dish with five extra-base hits in his career.
MacKenzie Gore Over 6.5 strikeouts (-105 at DraftKings)
Washington Nationals lefty MacKenzie Gore is having a breakout season, pitching to a 3.59 ERA and leading the majors with 75 strikeouts through 52 2/3 innings.
Today, Gore takes on a Baltimore Orioles lineup that ranks 23rd in OPS (.676), with that number plummeting to an MLB-worst .511 against lefties. The O's strike out at the third-highest rate (24%) in the majors while ranking 23rd in whiff rate (26.2%).
Gore is in the Top 10th percentile in strikeout rate (35.2%) and whiff rate (34.6%) and has fanned 7+ batters in six of his last seven starts.
Mookie Betts Over 0.5 runs (-115 at bet365)
The Los Angeles Dodgers hammered the A's 19-2 yesterday, and today that high-powered offense will host the Los Angeles Angels. Mookie Betts got on base three times last night and ended up getting home all three times.
Betts is tied for third in the majors with 36 runs scored and has been on fire lately. The eight-time All-Star has plated a run in 11 of his last 15 games while slashing .339/.397/.518 over that span.
Jack Kochanowicz will toe the rubber for the Halos, and he has an ugly 5.23 ERA with an OBA of .284 through eight starts. It gets even worse after Kochanowicz, with the Angels bullpen last in the majors in ERA (6.97) and OBA (.306).
