HR Prop #1: Kyle Schwarber
Kyle Schwarber continues to rake this season. He doesn’t sit far behind Cal Raleigh for the home run lead, smacking 53 bombs with a couple of weeks left in the campaign.
The veteran is in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, and he’s clubbed three long balls during that span. In fact, Schwarber went deep in three straight contests before Tuesday’s game.
He’ll face Blake Snell tonight, and although Schwarber is just 2-for-11 in the head-to-head, one of those hits left the ballpark.
The slugger has 22 homers off left-handed pitchers as well. That’s unheard of in a day and age where the lefty-lefty matchup typically favors the pitcher.
Don’t be surprised if he goes deep, whether it’s off Snell or L.A.’s struggling bullpen.
HR Prop #2: Willy Adames
Willy Adames is having a nice campaign for the San Francisco Giants, and his power has been on full display. After cracking 32 homers a year ago, he’s sitting at 28 in his first season in the Bay Area. Adames has been a wonderful addition to this ball club.
The shortstop has three bombs this month so far, and he’ll be up against Brandon Pfaadt this evening. Adames is 4-for-7 lifetime versus the starter with a home run. Pfaadt has trouble with the long ball, allowing 24 of them in 30 outings.
Adames also has 18 round-trippers off right-handed hurlers.
HR Prop #3: Cal Raleigh
Cal Raleigh’s historic season continues to take center stage. The catcher is now up to 56 home runs, and he’s already broken numerous records. The Mariners are even in first place in the AL West now, and they have Raleigh to thank for a lot of their success.
The AL MVP candidate is tearing the cover off the baseball at the moment. He’s slugged three bombs across his last two games, going deep twice on Tuesday evening against the Royals. Raleigh is hitting .309 in September with six round-trippers.
Cole Ragan faces Seattle tonight, and although Raleigh is 0-for-2 against him lifetime, he’s dangerous against lefties, smacking 21 bombs.
