HR Prop #1: Aaron Judge
While Aaron Judge hasn’t gone deep yet in September, there’s reason to believe that could change tonight.
The New York Yankees begin a series with the Detroit Tigers, and they will face Casey Mize. Judge has done no wrong against him in the past, going 5-for-7 with a pair of doubles. Plus, of Judge's 43 round-trippers, 31 have come off right-handed pitchers.
Mize has given up 17 bombs in 24 starts, and Judge has left the yard 19 times at home.
HR Prop #2: Bryce Harper
Despite missing time with injury, Bryce Harper has smacked 24 bombs while hitting .261. Tonight, the Philadelphia Phillies face New York Mets left-hander Sean Manaea, and that plays in Harper’s favor.
The Las Vegas native is 6-for-16 lifetime versus the southpaw with a pair of doubles and a homer. He’s gone deep twice this month already, and also cracked seven round-trippers in August. Harper has nine bombs off left-handed hurlers as well, and Manaea owns an ERA over 5.00.
HR Prop #3: Rafael Devers
We’ll finish today’s MLB picks with Rafael Devers, who is starting to show exactly why the San Francisco Giants pulled off a blockbuster trade for him. The Dominican has smacked 31 home runs, including three already in just seven September contests.
Devers faces Zac Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks this evening. Gallen is having a forgettable year, allowing 26 bombs in 29 starts. He’s surrendered 11 to left-handed hitters and 13 on the road.
Devers, meanwhile, has done the majority of his damage off righties, slugging 22 home runs.
