HR Prop #1: Juan Soto
Juan Soto is really starting to find his best swing lately. The slugger is now up to 35 home runs after a very slow start across the first few months of the season.
The Dominican has smacked three bombs in his last three games, even going deep twice on Saturday against the Miami Marlins. He’ll be looking to stay hot today as the New York Mets head to Motown to face the Detroit Tigers, who send Charlie Morton to the hill.
The veteran starter is having a brutal campaign, and Soto has destroyed him in the past. He’s 8-for-14 lifetime with three round-trippers.
HR Prop #2: Christian Yelich
Perhaps he’s not an MVP anymore, but Christian Yelich is still a very solid player, and he’s played a key part in the Milwaukee Brewers’ success in 2025. He’s hitting .270 with 27 home runs and 92 RBI. Yelich just had a very impressive August, batting .324 with seven long balls.
He’ll be looking to carry that momentum into September, and he’ll be up against Philadelphia Phillies SP Taijuan Walker, against whom Yelich is 5-for-10 lifetime, going deep once. Walker has surrendered seven home runs to left-handed hitters.
HR Prop #3: Cal Raleigh
MLB’s home run leader is stuck on 50, but I’m eyeing him to potentially smack No. 51 today. Cal Raleigh has gone hitless in his last five contests.
However, he’s facing Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Shane Baz, who has had serious issues with the long ball, giving up 26, including five across his last two starts.
Raleigh has 20 bombs off righties, and his power output on the road is impressive, clubbing 25 round-trippers. He’s only 3-for-13 against the Rays this season, but all three hits left the ballpark.
This feels like the perfect day for Raleigh to break out of his skid and do some damage.
